Slightly OT, but an attempt to comfort voyboy:
Comic-book writer Peter David tells the story of how, when he was writing the DC Comics series Young Justice, he had to come up with names for a pair of detectives who were tracking down the superhero kids in the Young Justice squad. So he named them Nuck 'n' Futz.
He says the book made it all the way through the editorial process to right before it went to print before any of the editors realized what he'd done.
When the book hit the streets, the detectives' names had been changed to Fite 'n' Maad. |
