Haley? Ya, she's a McPhee wannabe.

I think season 1 was really the best, if only for Kelly Clarkson. Actually...having said that, season 4 was pretty good too.

I'm not a huge Idol fan, but I have to agree with you there. Besides Kelly and Carrie, has the show really produced any talent? This whole season has just been a disappointment to me, especially with Sanjaya sticking around...he can't sing, and have you seen his hair? It scares me. I mean, Idol has had some good singers in the past. I really liked Katharine McPhee and Diana DeGarmo, and Chris Daughtry has really established himself, but...Fantasia? Give me a break. And Ruben Studdard? That was a sad joke. Oh! I also really loved Sundance this season. But everyone else is just average. Crying or Very sad It makes me sad.

IMO, the only good thing to come out of AI was Kelly Clarkson and Chris Daughtry.

yep I basically agree with you. I think it's kind of sad. I mean, I'm sure there must be some people with talent out there...AI just hasn't found them. Confused

Well, there is a difference in being able to sing and being a star. There have been many, many, many good singers on American Idol, there have only been a few stars.

I think Carrie Underwood is fabulous. She's a little too country for me, but I love her voice.

She's amazingly talented! I agree! She has such a wonderful voice, and she actually knows how to sing. Very Happy

I'm not one for country, but i really like Carrie too. She seems like such a genuine sweety.

I'm kinda bummed after the elimination show tonight. Sanjaya's still there. And Haley. Poor Sligh. I think he could have stuck around a bit more--when he sang tonight for his farewell it was good! He was on beat! Gah!

ps, we need an america's next top model thread too. Come out come out wherever you are. you know its your guilty pleasure show!

pps, i'm really not into grammar tonight. poo.

Kelly is the best!! I love her. Season 1 & 2 were my favorites. Season 3 it all went downhill for me. I love Kelly, Clay, Carrie, Chris, Kat....and that sums it up I think. OH YEAH...Elliot!! Love him...That is all.

I really watch it for Ryan though.

Um, Sanjaya NEEDS to go!! That hair was complete insanity!!

Yeah, I know. Stupid "Vote for the Worst Singer Website" Evil or Very Mad . That might not be the only reason, but I'm sure it's a significant factor.

I like Jordin and Gina. I don't care for any of the guys, though I think that Blake is the most interesting singer (and he's a good singer, too). And as much as it would make sense for Melinda to eventually be the next American Idol, I would be disappointed because it's too predictable. So, I'm backing Jordan and will vote for her when necessary.

Sanjaya was his name yes! There was too many American Idol watchers who actually went to the limit to get Sanjaya eliminated, like this one fat woman didn't eat until he was eliminated, this one guy lived on a roof of a building, lots of crazy people out there...

For the Minnesota people:
I don't watch AI, but seriously, Sanjaya needs to get kicked off so B. Right from B96 can smoke... his substances.

Okay, that's my 2 cents.
