In his position, though, and after getting a better idea of how far the Order may be willing to go, would you put your friend in danger by going to them for refuge? I wouldn't. I think that's partly what's keeping Daniel from asking anyone for help. |

So they had already eliminated that as a possibility in their own minds. (the characters, or the creators....take your pick.) |
For plot reasons, the Creators are narrowing the field of options open to our young heroes. In real life, there would be any number of options open to them - any number of people they could call upon for help. A random stranger is probably not going to turn out to be in the Order, and neither is a long-time fan.
That's why it wasn't a good idea, really, for the Creators to create a Will They? Won't They? question about going to Jonas'. Because they artificially choked off all other options, there was never really much of a question. Go to Jonas, or send Bree to a dumpster for dinner? Um, I think if she hung around the nearest Starbucks, there are plenty of guys who would buy her a muffin and a latte grande or two. |

Umm, Daniel HAS called his parents in the past. I'm not quite sure which vid it was. But, it was one where they were at the motel and he mentions that he had called his mom and checked in. |

But it did mean something... the "Ceremony" (though they later declared it fake) happened. They are Americans, they think in 10-12-06 dating meaning October. There's no reason for something to happen in both October and December. |
Yeah but I thought they decided to have a fake ceremony when Daniel started following Lucy and Bree around, which was after Bree showed us the 10-12-06 cookie scores.
But, to answer my own question, maybe it was just because it's Crowley's birthday. |
Yeah, thats what I'm thinking...the 10-12-06 thing was just for Crowley...something else would have happened.
The vid...made my jaw drop.
I hope Nikki can find where they all met and look for clues...such as any sign of struggle...
Either Daniel is now in danger or Bree definately is.
Daniel could be in danger of going home...which would lead to the theory of him being the one the order wanted, and he might disappear.
or Bree might be in danger..just because Jonas might be part of the order and he might have captured her and locked her away.
Its hard to say at this point...only the next video will give us some insight.

| okay i know a few other people have said it already (sorry, too lazy to go back through 17 pages and find the posts to quote here), but i'm still definitely in the "it was a staged video" camp. i'm not sure if they staged the fight and neither of them went to jonas's. or if they actually both went with. i'm leaning toward the former though. and sending him home with the tape to edit is actually the real test. they may just end up going there anyway now, or they may have been going home and at least this bought them a little time... i certainly didn't see this coming though. |

Thats possible...because I don't think just meeting him would be a good test. Anyone can lie in person and seem like a decent human being instead of a plant by the order to suck out your soul.

I think you misunderstood. It wouldn't put Bree and Daniel in any more danger to go to a friend's house. It would put the friend in danger. You'd have an ethical responsibility for that person if you brought a world of being hunted and watched onto their doorstep. |

I didn't read everything (I hate it when videos are posted on weekends. Takes me FOREVER to catch up LOL) I'm wondering, though....
If Jonas edited the video, I wonder what he may have edited out......
