My presents were, in no particular order, the Judex DVD, a first American edition of John Buchan's Prester John, a 1908 edition of John Masefield's Captain Margaret, and Moonraker, or The Female Pirate and Her Friends by F. Tennyson Jesse (a grand niece of the poet Tennyson).
It was, in short, a kickass birthday.
