I think, considering LonesomeOctobers importance in the early stages of the game, that it's fair to allow some artistic license here.
LO was never an official character but he did do a lot to boost the popularity of the series and for many people, did a lot to establish purple monkeys persona.
I'm sure that without his input the stuffed animals would have played a less important roll in the game as it evolved.

I guess I should throw this out just to keep the record strait...
http://www.myspace.com/lonesomeoct is not my page.
I don’t have any in-character pages out there, so unless it’s my YouTube or Revver account, it aint me. I never really thought about the fact that someone else might take the name on Myspace...oops.
(Blackjack = Lonesomeoctober, by the way. I think most of you know that, but there are a lot of new faces on the forums since I was last here. Hello all!)
Edit: Just noticed my title..."suspiciously absent"...nice.

Edit: God, reading back over this, even I'm confused, so here's the scorecard:
I am "Blackjack" on the forums, "Lonesomeoctober" on YouTube and on the lonelygirl15.com front end, and "Lonesomeoct" on Revver.
I am not Lonesomeoct (or anything else) on MySpace (or any additional sites).
