Ok. I don't know if this has been discussed yet (It probably has) --

But do you think Gemma's hair color has anything to do with her loyalty??

It seems as though, for the first half of the bit, she is a red-head. BUT-- once she "gets followed" and seems to apparently betray Bree and Daniel, it goes dark.

Do you think there is symbolism here of some sort?

I don't think it does. I think it was just something the actress did. Also, it was never red, shes always been a brunette.

I used to think black hair..but its more dark dark brownish/black than anything.

I don't think her hair color has anything to do with the plot...

but you are looking into things!

I think he just has to do with the studio lighting...I find there is a number of inconsistanies when it somes to that.
It doesn't seem like her hair changed colour at all.

I know exactly what your talking about alysa - both of my sisters have hair like that. Depending on the lighting (color, intensity, etc) it can look like it has had highlights, midnight black or anything in between.

My hair is the same...sometimes it looks way lighter than it is--some people will ask me if i dyed it..and I'll just be like nooo o.oa lol

Wow. I watched some of her videos, and her hair does seem to get darker, but that's probably just the lighting like you guys said.

Buuut, it also got me thinking. Maybe Gemma didn't always work for the Order. Maybe the Order found her after she thought she was being watched, and they convinced (or... blackmailed. Maybe even mindcontrolled. Something like that.) her to join them.

That may have already been said somewhere else, though. I've only been here for a day. >.< Either way, I've just now thought about it.
