Is it just me or does anyone else want somemore proving science wrong. That was definitly something that i enjoyed and i wish that they would do something like that again (even if its only once or twice). I know now isnt the best time with what just happened (see the Vegas video), but when things start to die down, I really hope that they start it up again. Whats even worse is that Bree on numerous occasions have been soooooooo close in doing so.
Does anyone else agree with me, or is it just me.... |

IMO, we have moved past "Proving Science Wrong" stage. At this point, BDJ need to be more focused on "Proving the Order Incompetent".
To make Bree actually do a "Proving Science Wrong" would be taking her character backwards. We cannot go back to Bree's bedroom; it just won't work.
References to it, though, are just fine. _________________ You can call me Juli or LLP, whichever suits your fancy.

*starts to cry* its like seeing your daughter or someone grow up dramaticly before your very eyes.
But what I don't get is that they can be silly enough to fight over IceBreakers, and play Fooseball all day, but they can't do just one proving science wrong... |

(applauds) Thank you, Juli. You expressed that thought far more clearly, and politely, than I could have at this point. |

I'm going to have to agree with Juli and Lass here.
While I thought the Proving Science Wrong segments were cute, the story is definitely at a point where we're way past that. Yes, they do gum and foosball (and the occasional spin art, when DannyB goes away to visit the Order <sigh>), but they don't have books on the road, that I've seen, and I don't know that Bree has time for a library visit...and, quite frankly, if they're hopping into the library to do research, I'm thinking it should be about the Order...not about how it's impossible to teach dolphins to read or somesuch...
<looks around> Shouldn't we be in Plot Discussion about now? _________________ Diane, or cher, or even chershaytoute, but "Hey, you!" works, too...

The Ice Breakers thing would be something that would spontaneously occur, as would foosball if they stopped at a restaurant that just happened to have foosball. The Proving Science Wrong segments were skits - even in the fictional world - that Bree had planned out. |

It would only work if they did something about the order, and the only scenarios i can think of are torturing a Watcher, and they're obviously not all about that.

I agree. Thats exactly it. they're supposed to be on the run and trying to figure things out...PSW wouldn't fit the flow. Once they would be finished with it they'd almost have to say "And now back to your regularly scheduled run from the order!"
And if they did do a PSW, a whole lotta people would b*tch and moan about it.
It is sad, but i really don't see PSW coming back.
Lets take a moment of silence. ...

I definitely want it back, if they can do it right.
Mesh is aware of the various positives of PSW and how they can be best fit into the plot. If he can find a way to do that, which would have to be accompanied by a general lightening of the show (which was going well until the stupid Vegas chase scene), then definitely go for it.
What we can't have, and I doubt they'd ever do this, is what used to happen in the Gemma days with a dark episode with Bree all sad and then suddenly the next episode is happy. We need consistency, and so if the Creators have made the (in my opinion) bad choice to keep things dark from now on, then there can be no PSW, but I'd love to see a bit more humor brought back to the show and a less serious rather than apocalyptic feel which it sometimes has. _________________ Check out: Funniest LG15-related episode... ever?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ6kBdNegfs |

Yet again I find myself agreeing with you. However, I still miss the proving science wrong videos...so someday I'd like them to have a comeback. |

haha
thats what i've been thinking for a while (its all in good humor Mew! *huggles*)
I think one, jsut for old times sake would be nice. But I don't think it should be a regular thing. Maybe every once in a while...but nothing regular. _________________ kelly

I would LOVE to see Bree reak bad on some watcher ass. Maybe she could tie one of THEM to chair and prove some "order science" wrong |
