In "Losing My Religion" Bree tells us that her mom and dad were together before she was introduced to the Hymn of One and that after she was exposed to the religion, she changed from introverted and shy to assertive. This seems to contradict Bree's information in "How My Parents Met". In that video, presumably before the Hymn of One entered her life, Bree's mom seems pretty self-assured and extroverted when she interrupts Bree's dad and his friend discussing the play. She pretty much tells Bree's dad he's wrong and "opened a can of whoop ..."

Perhaps the Creators didn't quite know where they were going to go with Bree's mom when the first video was written, but the contradiction stood out for me. What do you guys think?

It was probably just an error. I wouldn't see any point in doing that on purpose.

Yeah, there seems to be a few continuity errors regarding Bree's relationships with her mom and dad. That's a good one - another one is that in the more recent videos, Bree suggests that she was much closer with her dad than her mom, but her earlier videos seem to suggest the opposite.

Maybe there's some explanation, but it could just be an error on the part of the Creators, due to the changing direction of the plot.

Maybe the Order has voided every memory BDJ have ever had, and replaced it with the ones they want them to have.

Don't be too hard on the Creators. After all, through other mediums (books, movies, tv shows) the writers can always go back and change any continuity problems, but part of having the lg15 videos posted quickly means slipping up from time to time.

While I heartily agree with Kristy, I'd also like to point out that as circumstances change in your life, your perspective changes and so does your memory of the events of the past.

its a shame, but i think it is probably an error...

But the relationship thing could be a possibility... In the video where she suggests she is closer to her mom, bree was still living with her parents. Maybe since she's been on her own for some time she is seeing her relationship with her parents differently. A personal example is when i used to live with my mom, i considered myself closer to my dad, and now that i live with my dad, i feel oceans closer to my mom... so i think given the situation that one continuity issue could slide...

hopefully the Creators can think of something to make a little more sense of how her parents met/got involved in the religion.

Edited to add: Mincartaugh, you're too quick for me!! haha, but yeah, exactly what you said.

I think the big change in her perspective happened when her Dad met her at the Cafe, filled her in on some things, most of which still remain a mystery, then was killed immediately afterwards.

She even said soon after that she wasn't going to talk to her Mom for a long time.

You know, i somewhat have to agree with you that it may be an error

however, she might have heard them discussing a topic that is close to her heart, or she saw a man that struck her fancy (ok yea this made me laugh to) and wanted to go up and talk to him, saw that fate gave her the perfect chance and did so.
