'''Rutka''': I've got something on my mind. And I figure as long as I have to continue doing these video diaries, I might as well talk about it. Until a month ago, I was friends with this boy, Janek. We’ve known each other for as long as I can remember. Back in August I cut my hair and my friend Nica asked me if I did it because I…liked Janek. When I asked her where she got this idea she told me that he’d been telling everyone that we loved each other and the reason I cut my hair was because he told me he liked it shorter. When I confronted him, he swore that Nica made it up because she was jealous of our friendship. And I believed him. Because I guess I wanted to.

So I felt really stupid for getting angry at him... until last month when I stopped by his apartment to have lunch with him. That’s when I overheard him telling his buddies that we had already kissed. Anyway I rushed straight home after yelling some…rather rude words at him. He showed up the next day with candy and a teddy bear. The bear was cute so I took it but I smashed the candy over his head. Eventually I got tired of looking at the bear and gave it to my brother. Look, girls are weird. What do you want from me?

Anyway, two weeks later I got a notice in the paper. It was a recall from a toy company saying that some sort of dangerous chemical leaked into a few of their products without their notice and that it’s extremely dangerous. The bear happened to be on the list of intoxicated toys. So now I’m worried about the welfare of my family. Yesterday, we went to the clinic and got tested. The needles kind of hurt, but the toy company paid for it so it wasn’t too bad… If Janek gave me fuzzy cooties, I'm gonna kill him.

It is also a sister series and has had crossovers with [[Redearth88]], which is a project of former [[lonelygirl15]] crew member [[Glenn Rubenstein]].

The show originally followed the story of a girl named Maddison Atkins and her friend Adam Wilmott. They were sent a letter by a mysterious Mr. Zipp and within fifteen days, tracked and killed by Joel Frady. During the second chapter of the story, Clara Stokes and Adam Lamar investigated the murders and interviewed people connected to the story. During the third chapter of the show, Gregory Atkins and Marla took over the story, as Clara became a drunk. There was a period of over a year without any videos, and just recently, "Maddison Atkins 2.0" was announced as "a re-imagining of the original series in which Maddison Atkins and Adam Wilmott were never sucked into Mr. Zipp's world. Attending College, they are forced to attend during the summer semester. The difficulties of their lives become amplified when a mysterious box is left on Maddison's porch." i've been so busy trying to keep up with my school life, i haven't been able to do anything I had hoped.

I learned my lesson: Keeping my grades up is very time consuming. It keeps you on your toes.

Luckily, I think i've been able to clear this phase of the race, considering I knocked down the net, the kid with the moustache won't be able to finish now...

But it has taken A LOT longer than I thought it would take. i haven't been able actually...visit my little friend in the nurse's station.

I've thought over it a lot. My only explanation? I haven't fully embraced my studies. Not as much as i should have.

It just seems like such a long time has passed. Didn't we originally think that we'd be on fall break by mid-October?

I now have this sinking suspicion that i'll be here for a few more quarters. Maybe even until mid-terms.

I worry about my short comings in gym. I'm not sure which place i'm in. I think i am closer to the goal. And i am being given rewards, which i appreciate!

For instance, i've had more access to the dance hall than i had before.

At least that bodes well for the chance I'll be able to dance the polka!

But there were event I want to catch this month Unfortunately I don't think i can.

I hope my studies will be a good distraction. Latin? Good stuff.

But still, it's not what I had hoped to do that night.

I was surprised though: the other kids were gossiping about it! Someone else with a similar interest started a rumor.

The quality was poor, but it made up for the knowledge i lacked. I wasn't sure what to make of it, actually.

It was a bit silly! Even though I probably built it up way too much in my head.

Now I'm thinking that maybe it wasn't what I have predicted. Since they're teenagers, it's probably not true.

In fact maybe that event will never take place. I don't know what to think from what i've heard.

But strangely, I don't see how things CAN change. Maybe it's just that my classes are pretty much the same.

i am living the same life i have been. I really thought i would have a different view point on things. But it's all just the same.

I expect to have my computer time limited in the oncoming weeks. Considering the net thing.

It seems other clubs are given priority over what i am working on, and I am not sure if i can even see what those projects are...exactly.

i am not allowed to participate in clubs of interest, only smaller projects. I find it dull, but at least i am not being bullied.

Please tell Mom and Dad that I am sorry for not writing. i lost my address book and it had their address in it (coded of course, but still)

In this capacity, she oversaw all aspects of physical production including location scouting, cast and crew scheduling, set design, props, and line production. Until recently, she ran the Interactive Department at [[EQAL]], taking responsibility for in-character chat/forum, YouTube and myspace pages, and live events. Prior to joining lonelygirl15, Amanda, an attorney, worked in the business affairs department at the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in Beverly Hills, a Hollywood talent agency.

Amanda received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley and a J.D. from the University of Miami.

Amanda is married to [[Greg Goodfried]], an Executive Producer of lonelygirl15 and Founder/Co-President of [[EQAL]].

It was revealed by Wired Magazine, that Amanda was brought on to the project to portray [[Bree]] online. The Creators felt that they needed a female to type responses as Bree, and knew that they could trust Amanda. When users sent an e-mail or message to Bree on YouTube or MySpace, it was usually Amanda who responded. This is how the connection to Creative Artists Agency was made. Amanda responded to messages while at work and the IP address of CAA was discovered within one of these messages.

Comments on the MySpace wall of Amanda from the band The Jane Doe's were also discovered by fans, who concluded that she helped the band get their song in the [[Swimming!]] video.

Amanda has received credit for helping write the story since the video [[Bree The Cookie Monster]]. She was briefly a leading suspect for the role of [[Lucy]], but this speculation was dropped after it was revealed that Lucy was played by [[Jessi Williams]]. However, after the release of [[The Human Ransom]], The Creators clarified that while Jessi Williams had played Lucy for a while, she was now portrayed by Amanda, and had been ever since her appearance [[On The Run]].

It was also later revealed that the actress portraying [[Jules]] was Amanda's sister, [[Shannon Solomon]]. Additionally, the actress who originally portrayed [[Bree's mom]], [[Cameos#Allison Probert|Allison Probert]], is believed to be Amanda's cousin.

In addition to her roles as producer and head of interactivity on lonelygirl15 and co-executive producer for KateModern, Amanda is the writer, director, editor, and producer of the [[Nikki Bower]] videos. She also portrays the character of Kitty on the fan series [[LonelyJew15]].

On October 30th, 2008, Amanda and Greg Goodfried announced in a Live Chat that they are expecting a baby. Their first child, Jack, was born in early 2009.

'''Maddison Atkins''' was a nineteen-year-old communications major in her freshman year at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX. She was an only child, whose [[Gregory Atkins|parents]] lived in Houston, Texas. To her knowledge, she was not adopted, however, there is speculation that her parents were not her biological ones.

Maddison's interests included music, which was often used as background music in her videos, and thriller movies with a theme of murder and violence. She had a crush on a boy in a local band. She wore very stylish clothes and did not drink or do drugs.

On April 11th, 2007, she received a mysterious message by a carrier pigeon. The message gave her an e-mail address and instructed her to log in immediately, saying that she would know the password. As the message said, she knew the password immediately.

In her inbox, Maddison found information for [[YouTube]], [[Revver]], [[Lonelygirl15]], and [[MySpace]] accounts that had all been set up in her name the day before. She also found an e-mail from a "[[Mr. Zipp]]", apparently the same person who sent Maddison the message and set up the accounts. In the e-mail, he described himself as a "worried parent with certain people watching [his] every move who impose[d] severe restrictions on [his] interactions with [his] only child" and asked for her help to "save [his] child's life."

Maddison did as Zipp asked and immersed herself in the videos of the [[Breeniverse]] and the puzzles and codes that Mr. Zipp left. She wanted to save her own life, and hoped, that by reaching out to the community, she would gain enough exposure to scare off whomever was after her.

Unfortunately, she did not succeed in her goal. Maddison's [[War Pylol|enemies]] caught up to her and filmed her apartment on April 24th, 2007. After seeing the video Maddison and her friend [[Adam Wilmott]] fled the area to go to Adam's uncle's trailer, where [[Joel Frady]] was waiting for them.

Maddy and Adam were shot and killed in the video [[No More]].

In the rustic burg of Nacogdoches Texas, a young woman named '''[[Maddison Atkins]]''' studies to become a communications major, Maddison's life takes a drastic change when she and her project partner [[Adam|Adam Wilmott]] discover a [[HTMLvis|carrier pigeon]] in front of her apartment. Attached to the pigeon was a desperate plea for help from a mysterious person known only as [[Mr. Zipp]], to save the life of his only child. Maddison was given 15 days before the forces that kept Zipp away from his child would track Maddison down and eliminate her and Zipp himself. With nowhere to go to, she turned to the community for help with Zipp's coded messages which, unfortunately, wasn't enough.

Maddison and Adam were found by the former [[OpAphid]] agent: [[War Pylol]] and after their attempt to flee, were shot to their deaths by a man named [[Joel Frady (character)|Joel Frady]]. The summer after her death Maddison's former classmate, [[Clara Stokes]] is assigned to do a thesis on the murder and events surrounding it. Clara spent months interviewing family members of Maddison and her murderer. When the conspiracy behind Maddison's death hits too close to home, Clara sinks into a depression and abandons the project. When things look their bleakest, community member "[[Marla|MarlaSinger]]" moves to Nacogdoches and vows to bring light to the tragic deaths and finish the documentary for the sake of the memory of Adam Wilmott and Maddison Atkins. However, the outside world intervened and pushed her away from the small town. With a heavy heart Marla had no choice but to move on with her life.
