Steve claims to suffer from a similar ailment, and offers to help Kate get her memory back. However, both [[Charlie]] and [[Tariq]] think that Steve is a creep and try to keep Kate away from him.

At [[Charlie's party]], Tariq goes through Steve's bag and finds a [[Hymn of One]] pamphlet. Later, under interrogation, Steve admits to being a member of the Hymn of One and having lied about having amnesia, though he claims to only want to help protect Kate.
