Free Will is the twenty-second webisode in the KateModern video series.
Transcript
(Steve is pacing around Kate's bedroom)

Steve: It's a simple story really, classic themes. Happiness, sadness, love, violence. (Cut to Steve sitting on Kate's bed) Kate visited a doctor to follow up an abnormal blood test, twenty-four hours later she ended up in this bed, (strokes the bed) with absolutely no recollection of what happened to her in between. (Cut to Steve holding Kate's scarf) She's had a rough week. Her friends don't believe her and her boyfriend, Tariq, he doesn't trust her. Well I do, I trust her and I wanna help. So! Boy meets girl, girl meets new boy, old boy punches new boy, new boy goes to the police, old boy goes to prison...(laughs) Nah, I wouldn't really do that mate, I wouldn't go to the police. (Starts making Kate's bed) Some people know how to show restraint. (Steve sits back down on the bed and sighs) The plot thickens. New boy belongs to a religion that the old boy doesn't understand. Regardless, the Hymn of One is not relevant to my interest in Kate. I just wanna help her get her memory back. I mean, can't a person help a fellow human in need? (Cut to a shot of a live search for "alien autopsy" on Kate's laptop) Alien autopsy, aliens are not real. (Cut to a live search for "bonsai kitten") Bonsai kittens, a hoax, Tariq, no-one is raising kittens in little jars. (Cut to a shot of LG15.com) Lonelygirl15, those kids in America, the Order. D'you really believe in a secret society? Killing girls and using their blood for eternal life? Here's what's true, for the past week I have been helping Kate (Steve walks over to a table and picks up a mobile phone) and I succeeded...because I used my brain, not my fists. (Three pictures are shown) Found these pictures on Kate's phone, she doesn't remember taking them. (Steve is sitting at a laptop) I'm gonna post them onto Kate's Bebo site, so everyone can help us find out where they're from. I promised Kate I would help figure out where she went, who's responsible, I'll do it by noon on Saturday. And Tariq, why don't you help? You can be part of this story too.
Jessica Lee Rose (born April 26, 1987) is the actress that plays the character of Bree in the Lonelygirl15 video series. The discovery that Bree was played by Jessica prompted the Creators to come forward and tell their story.

Pre LG15
Originally from Salisbury, Maryland (USA), much of Jessica's upbringing was in Mount Maunganui (New Zealand). Jessica attended Mount Maunganui College there from 2000-2001, then was homeschooled while attending an acting class at Studio 111 in Auckland.

In January 2004, at 16 years old Jessica moved to Auckland to study makeup at 'The Academy of Film & Television Makeup' while continuing her once-a-week acting classes. At some point during 2004 she signed with the Clyne Modelling Agency and starred in the student short film Dearly Beloved. Her goal out of makeup school was to work with Peter Jackson, which she achieved in December when she worked on King Kong as an extras makeup artist for a week.

After Jessica's parents divorced in 2004, Jessica moved to Salisbury, MD in May 2005 to stay with her father while saving for school. She soon enrolled in the New York Film Academy at Universal Studios in Burbank, California. While at NYFA, she had roles in several student productions. She starred in 5cFNwwTGYdc (along with classmate and friend Amy Aitken) and "In The Deep".

Child of Anchor Cove
Jessica was living in Los Angeles, after graduating from NYFA in April 2006, and looking for work as an actress when she found a listing for an independent film project called The Children of Anchor Cove on Craigslist. She was one of about eighty actresses that auditioned for the lead part. After two callbacks, she was offered the role of Bree.

Jessica was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement and was told that the project would consist of a series of videos released over the Internet. She was initially disappointed, hesitant, and almost turned down the project. In film school, actresses were warned to be on the lookout for scams, but she felt she had little to lose and after looking at YouTube and other video blogs she became more comfortable with the project.

She was originally not being paid for the project but as lonelygirl15 became more popular she and co-star Yousef Abu-Taleb received a salary so they would not have to work as waiters to support themselves.

Jessica's well-sculptured eyebrows were a major source of speculation about whether she was real or an actress before the actress's true identity was revealed. Bree's journeys from her birth in the United States, moving to New Zealand in early childhood and coming back to the United States in her teens mirrors that of Jessica Rose's travels, and may have been written into the character to explain her occasional accent.

LG15 Related Appearances
Jessica was photographed by Wired Magazine for its December, 2006 article.

Jessica appeared on the Tonight Show to reveal to the public that the project was fictional. She also appeared in an interview with MTV News the same week.

On December 3, 2006 Jessica appeared on VH1's Big in 06 awards. She sparked some light controversy after saying to "Big Web Hit Award" presenter Jenna Jameson, a major pornography star, that "We should make a video together sometime".

On January 24th, 2007, Virginia Heffernan wrote in the New York Times that Rose "has become a truly terrific actress."

Forbes.com named Rose the biggest "Web-celeb" on the internet.

Jessica is, according to VH1's "40 Biggest Internet Celebrities," the fourth biggest web celeb.

Other Projects
After becoming an internet celebrity, Jessica said she has gotten auditions she probably would not have before. She has a small role in an upcoming 2007 film "I Know Who Killed Me" starring Lindsay Lohan. She is also set to star in an independent teen-drama called "Perfect Sport" from first-time director Anthony O'Brien, in which she will play Tina, a 15-year-old girl discovering who she is.

Jessica Rose has appeared in a new TV comedy/drama series "Greek" about, among other things, a geeky college freshman who decides to join a fraternity. The show premiered July 9 on ABC Family.
Jessica Rose's character on the show is named Jen K. and is portrayed as an overly talkative but likable person. While her character was initially a minor character, her role in the series gained a great more deal of significance in the episode that originally aired Monday, August 7, 2007. In that episode Jen K. become close with one of the main protagonists of the series, and this relationship could very likely be explored in future episodes.

On April 2, Rose co-hosted G4TV's Attack of the Show. The episode, ironically, was about April 1st hoaxes on the internet, where it's sometimes unclear what's real and fake.

Spencer: Hey, I would normally never do this at work, but I have all these thoughts running through my head and I just saw my boss go on his lunch break. I mean, what's happened in the past week alone! Daniel and Sarah dropped a letter from my dad into some beach water, smearing a part of that letter which reveals a forumla to save Bree. I met Jonas, Taylor, Sarah, and Daniel at my office, on my way to lunch. Nice suprise guys, almost got fired. Just kidding. Then, I get involved in this whole thing by trying to figure out this letter with Taylor, my new protégé, little sister, overall pal of mine. We bonded over cheese and crackers. Just like old times... Anyway, I then tell her that just because Bree is trait negative, that has nothing to do with the purity bond. That's just some Hymn of One B.S. used to control the minds of these young girls. Then we ask the fans to help us decipher the letter and, (claps hands) ta-da! We discover that we need to create a serum using the blood from one of these girls. Daniel goes off on his woodward Deep Throat meeting, and we discover that Bree is under lock-and-key because there is going to be a Hymn of One Ceremony in one month! One month... one month! You know what that means, don't you? It means that we have a mission, and we choose to accept it!

Spencer: Our mission is top secret, so all I can reveal to you is that we have a mole from the inside. Which means we know where to get these blood samples to save Bree. God, I can't believe I'm doing this. I feel like... I feel like Edward Bond in Dark World, you know? I've just penetrated an alternate world, a semi-factual world very similar to my own. I wonder if I'll meet a doppelgänger Spencer. Holy sh...

(The words "Mission Accepted" appear on screen, which are covered by the words "Top Secret" in red.)

Spencer: Our mission is top secret, so all I can reveal to you is that we have a mole from the inside. Which means we know where to get these blood samples to save Bree. God, I can't believe I'm doing this. I feel like... I feel like Edward Bond in , you know? I've just penetrated an alternate world, a semi-factual world very similar to my own. I wonder if I'll meet a doppelgänger Spencer. Holy sh...

According to IMDB.com, Rose will appear in an upcoming TV comedy/drama series "Greek" about a geeky college freshman who decides to join a fraternity. The show will premiere July 9 on ABC Family.

On April 2, Rose co-hosted G4TV's Attack of the Show. The episode, ironically, was about April 1st hoaxes on the internet, where it's sometimes unclear what's real and fake.

According to IMDB.com, Rose will appear in an upcoming TV comedy/drama series Greek about a geeky college freshman who decides to join a fraternity. The show will premiere July 9 on ABC Family.

On April 2, Rose co-hosted G4TV's Attack of the Show. The episode, ironically, was about April 1st hoaxes on the internet, where it's sometimes unclear what's real and fake.
Sweating Bullets is the two hundred sixteenth video in the lonelygirl15 video series.

Transcript
((Daniel and Sarah are walking outside.)

Daniel: We're here today because of Taylor, Sarah's uber-smart sister.

Sarah: Uber, uuuber-smart.

Daniel: (snorts with laughter) Apparently, it's not genetic. (Sarah punches him and he laughs. Cut to a screenshot of a web page.) Taylor worked with Opladybug and other people on the forum to find information on Isaac Gilman. They found this blog that says he plays tennis at the La Jolla Health and Tennis Club, (cut to a sign that says "Tennis Club") so here we are. (The camera pans over various parts of the club's exterior.)

Sarah: It's a very chi-chi place.

Daniel: And they offer a free one-day trial for potential customers, so we decided to take advantage of this offer, while quietly asking around if anybody knows who this Gilman guy is. (Cut to a shot of Jonas walking away.) And there he goes. Hey there.

Sarah: Hi.

Daniel: (laughs) You ready to work out?

Sarah: Do I look ready?

Daniel: Run, Jonas! (Cut to Sarah, inside the health club. She is dressed quite oddly.) You look... like a spaz.

Sarah: Exercising is just denial of death anyway. (sighs) No one wants to admit that one day we're all gonna die, we're all gonna look like a rotting corpse.

Daniel: (filming Sarah's skull wristband) Well, that's a happy thought.

Sarah: This is Jonas's thing, not mine.

Daniel: That's so true. Jonas does like to work out. (Jonas shrugs) No, no, he loves to.

(Cut to musical montage of Jonas working out and Sarah pretending to work out.)

Sarah: (in faux-Austrian accent) I am ze Sarah-nator, and I will destroy you.

(Montage continues.)

Jonas: So after about fifteen minutes of working out, Sarah and Daniel quit and took off. (Cut to a shot of Sarah breaking a raw egg into a glass) So I decided I'm just going to walk around the club and see if anybody knows Isaac Gilman. Nobody knew anything, so I went to the reception desk, (Jonas drinks the egg) and then this nicely dressed lady walked up to me and said, "Isaac Gilman is no longer a member of this club." The thing is, she was acting really weird. (Cut to Jonas in front of a fountain, directly addressing the camera) Turns out that woman I was talking to (snaps) knows Isaac Gilman. That's right, and unfortunately she couldn't go into specifics here, but she said that we could meet her at her house later in the week. Now, I don't know what she's gonna tell me, but it's gotta be huge, because when I mentioned Bree's name, all the color just drained from her face, you know. And, she shared with me privately that she's got information that links Bree, the Order, and this Isaac Gilman all together. But, there's a problem. Um, I don't know what this Gilman guy shared with her, but it can't be good, because...
