The '''Maddison Atkins ARG''' is a popular [[Alternate Reality Game]] produced by [[Jeromy Barber]] of 12th Street House. It takes place within the [[LG15 Franchise|LG15 Universe]]. Currently, the game has had two incarnations, both of which follow the story of a girl named Maddison Atkins.

The first incarnation of the show followed the story of a girl named Maddison Atkins and her friend Adam Wilmott. They were sent a letter by a mysterious Mr. Zipp and within fifteen days, tracked and killed by Joel Frady. During the second chapter of the story, Clara Stokes and Adam Lamar investigated the murders and interviewed people connected to the story. During the third chapter of the show, Gregory Atkins and Marla took over the story, as Clara became a drunk. This version of the show was a sister series to and had crossovers with [[Redearth88]], which was produced by former [[lonelygirl15]] crew member, [[Glenn Rubenstein]].

More recently, the second incarnation of the show currently follows the same girl named Maddison Atkins. She is partnered with Adam for video projects and becomes friends with him, but their summer video projects for college are the least of their worries when a box of pigeons is left on Maddison's doorstep. Trying to balance school and life, Maddison and Adam grow closer as they work to solve the mystery with help from the online community.

In the [[First Blog / Dorkiness Prevails|beginning]], Bree's videos were similar to those of many other popular vloggers on YouTube, making brief videos out of her bedroom about her life, her best friend, [[Daniel]], and her conflicts with her [[Bree's parents|parents.]]

Bree was home schooled and lonely. Her only friend, who introduced her to YouTube and video editing, was Daniel, whom she met during a brief [[Poor Pluto|stint]] in public school two years earlier. Daniel's [[Boy Problems...|crush]] on Bree and the [[My Parents Suck...|strictness]] of Bree's parents were a part of the tensions behind many of the early videos.

Eventually, it was revealed that Bree was a member of a secretive religion, originally believed to be [[Thelema]], but later recognized as the fictional [[Hymn of One]]. Selected to perform a mysterious [[The Ceremony|ceremony]], she was, at first, ecstatic by the honor, but soon found herself with many unanswered [[I Listened To Daniel|questions]] as to the motives of the [[Deacons]] who [[Life's Not Fair|insisted]] she perform it.

When Bree continued to ask a large amount of astronomy-related questions in science class, the other students made fun of her and called her Stargirl until she stopped. "Stargirl" is also the name of a teen-lit novel by Jerry Spinelli. The book tells the story of a homeschooled girl who arrives in a public high school but doesn't quite fit in. {{wikipedia|H.P._Lovecraft|Howard Philips Lovecraft}} (1890-1937) was an American fantasy, science fiction, and horror writer. He is most known for his invention of a {{wikipedia|Cthulhu_Mythos|Cthulu mythos}} and a fictional book called the Necronomicon which was hyped in his books to be capable of calling back ancient gods of death and destruction.

In many ways, Lovecraft was the antithesis of [[Aleister Crowley]]. Both were victims of illness during much of their childhood, had a relatively abusive upbringing, and lost their fathers at an early age. They were both atheists, however, the fundamental philosophies inspiring both men were the exact opposite.

[[Aleister Crowley]] believed in gnosticism and mankind's status as divine extensions of God, with everything being connected on a deep level with only perceived separation. Lovecraft, however, gave us a completely different vision of the universe and man's place within it. In Lovecraft's world, man was an insignificant speck in a vast cosmos, prey to vicious and terrible deities ready to wipe man off the face of the Earth at a whim. Rather than being part of God, man was instead alive only because the deities of the universe had not found him worthy of even the effort required to anhilate him.

In [[School Work in Summer... BLECHH!!!]], Bree references Antarctica and Pluto. These locations both play heavily into the Cthulu mythos. She does so again in [[Poor Pluto]], but this time also uses the YouTube tag "cephalopod" which could also be a reference to Cthulu.

==Necronomicon==
The Necronomicon is a fictional book written by H.P. Lovecraft in the early 20th century in a series of short stories taking place in Massachusetts and related to the fictional Miskatonic University. It differs from the Egyptian or Tibetan books of the dead in that the Necronomicon was supposed to be used to summon the dead whereas actual books of the dead were to be memorized by the deceased and acted as a guidebook in their journey through the afterlife. The Lovecraft invention of the Necronomicon has no basis in fact and never existed except in fiction.

Before the true nature of [[the Ceremony]] was revealed, there was a great deal of discussion about it involving some sort of communion with otherworldly entities or communication with another world. These discussions included the use of rituals to open gates to other worlds or realms, communication with the dead etc. Much of this came from references to ancient Egyptology. Other parts came from references to [[Aleister Crowley]]. Many suggested that the writers of LG were familiar with the Necronomicon.

Once they reach their apartment, Ola scolds Daniel for never feeding [[Ramzes]]. In the process of getting the cat food, Ola cuts herself on the can, resulting in a flurry of attention from Daniel. After Ola returns from the Clinic, she discovers that Daniel had left the door open and the cat escaped. Ola scolds Daniel for his careless behavior, and they set out to look for it. When Daniel returns to the apartment, he finds Ramzes back and Ola freaked out by her encounter with the doctor from the clinic. The incident causes Ola to decide to take a vacation, and Daniel promises to take care of Ramzes while she is gone.

After Ola departs for the airport, Daniel makes a video showing her that he has everything under control, and that Ramzes misses her. While he's filming, he receives a phone call from the Clinic, and he tells Ola that she should call them back. Sometime later, Daniel returns home to find the apartment ransacked. While he comforts an agitated Ramzes, he fails to notice the culprit leave through the front door. Daniel calls the police, and two officers show up and question him extensively about Ola and her current whereabouts. They speculated that the break-in may have been faked, and that Ola might have been behind it. Daniel becomes freaked out, and sends Ola a video message urging her to contact him, and discovered that the burglar had copied the contents of Ola's address book.

Daniel realizes that someone is following him, and he flees his apartment with Ramzes in tow. He stops at a nearby restaurant, and leaves Ola a message telling her that someone is stalking him and that he has to go. Frightened and desperate, he abandons Ramzes in an alley, and attempts to hide from the person chasing him, only to get knocked out and dragged to a cell. After Ola gets Daniel's message regarding the break-in at the apartment, she tries to contact Daniel, and finally manages to get ahold of him via videochat. He is in a dark room, and doesn't respond to Ola when she talks to him. He eventually breaks his silence and tells Ola that he is breaking up with her because of everything that has happened, and is selling the apartment. After Ola signs off, a woman who seems to have been coaching Daniel's speach congratulates him on a job well done.

Daniel becomes frustrated, and demands an explanation as to why he is being held there, and what they want with Ola. To his surprise, Rafał, sporting a nasty bruise, comes to his cell and explains that there are people that want Ola because of her unique [[Trait positive|blood]]. In the process, Daniel inadvertantly reveals details about Ola's upbringing that she had previously kept hidden.

Before Ola could process what they had said, Daniel arrived, and the restaurant staff [[You Are Not Alone|surprised her]] with a cake and wishes of a happy birthday. Rafał and Magda became more cheerful and outgoing, and they ended up [[Inny świat|hanging out]] with Daniel and Ola the rest of the evening. However, the night turned sour after [[Było minęło|it was acknowledged]] that Ola's parents had not called to wish her a happy birthday, causing Ola and Daniel to get into an argument over Ola's indifference to this. Upon [[A miało być tak miło|arriving home]], Ola scolds Daniel for not feeding [[Ramzes]], and cuts herself when opening the cat food. The cut is bad, and Ola is forced to [[Apartheid|visit a nearby clinic]].

However, she is put in better spirits when she find out that [[Restaurant Manager|her boss]] [[Rada|has given her]] three weeks paid vacation as a birthday gift. When she visits the Clinic, she is all smiles, not knowing that [[the Order]] has placed surveillance cameras in the facility. After discovering that Daniel left the door open, she begins looking for her cat, only to bump into the Doctor from the clinic. He warns her that she is in danger and that she must leave, but she is frightened and threatens to call the police. Upon returning to the apartment, she finds Ramzes inside, but becomes paranoid when she hears someone outside the door. After approaching it while holding a knife, she calms down when she realizes it is Daniel, and decides to take everyone's advice and go on a vacation. A couple of days later, she flies out to Wrocław, and plans to take a bus to Wałbrzych after she is unable to get a hold of her mother.

Unbeknown to her, she was followed by [[Bartek|the man]] who sat next to her on the flight, who had encouraged her to cut off contact from her life by changing her phone number and enjoying her vacation, and he boards the bus after her. However, Ola changes her mind, and gets off the bus in favor of contacting Kama. Kama arrives, but [[I'm sorry|is angry]] at Ola for not contacting her after moving to London. Ola appologizes profusely, and Kama happily forgives her. As they depart from the bus terminal, they are unknowingly [[How are you?|being watched]]. Upon arriving at Kama's apartment, Ola is left alone while Kama checks the mail, and is playfully attacked by [[Natan]] in his underwear and a cape, believing Ola to be one of his roommates. After he apologizes, he introduces himself and [[Justyna|his girlfriend]] to Ola, but the meeting is cut short when they spot Kama outside talking to someone angrily on the phone.

A while later, Ola is [[Łączność|looking through]] her photographs online, and she and Justyna notice [[Bartek]] and a mysterious woman crop up in pictures Ola had taken back in London. A few seconds later, he shows up and tells Ola that they need to talk. Spooked, Ola runs away, only to get mugged by a stranger a few blocks away. Bartek arrives in time to fend off the attack, and warns Ola that there are people after her. She later [[Rodzice|receives an email]] from Bartek telling her that he needs to tell her some important things soon.

As Ola is mulling over the situation, she is interrupted by Kama, who is scolded for not coming to their arranged meeting place. Kama is confused, but covers up for it by telling her that she had visited her parents that day. However, [[Ósma|when Kama arrived]] at the apartment, she encountered Magda, who was claiming to be Elżbieta Polak. Extremely concerned, Ola [[Turniej|calls her mother]] and begs her to get in touch. On another front, Natan and Justyna advise Ola not to meet with Bartek, as they are convinced he is mentally unstable. However, Kama argues in his defense, and points out that he had saved her from a mugger. In the end, Ola decides to go through with the meeting, but Kama and Natan insist on going with her.

Ola searches for Bartek at a Monopoly gaming Expo, and is guided by Kama and Natan, who are listening in through her cell phone. Sure enough, Bartek corners her in an obscure part of the complex. Ola believes him to be sick, but he tells her the name of the Order, making her freeze. Bartek tells her that the Order had planned everything that had happened to her in London, but that [[Jeffrey Harris|Dr. Jeffrey Harris]] betrayed them and had made contact with her. After Bartek leaves, Kama and Natan find her, and attempt to console her after overhearing what was said.

After returning to the apartment, Ola tries to rationalize everything that has happened, only to come to the conclusion that everything he said was true. She decides to go to Wałbrzych to find answers, and asks her friends to come with her.

[[Bray]] first meets [[Antonia]] when he picks her up from the airport after she returns from [[the Gold Coast]]. They have a rocky start when Bray destroys Antonia's mobile phone because it might be a tracking device. Antonia gets Bray back by destroying his phone when they are at the beach house. Antonia continues to be unimpressed with Bray when he tries to show her his bullet wound at the dinner table.

Bray however appears to become more attentive of Antonia when on the road trip to find [[Leigh]], Antonia falls asleep and Bray puts her head to rest on his shoulder. Here also is suspicious when he sees her hanging out with [[Mitch]]. The two get even closer when Bray is in Antonia's bedroom and tries to wrestle a book out of her hands and the two kiss. They are interrupted when [[Jayde]] knocks on the door and Antonia is seen to pull back immediately and look embarrassed. Jayde later posts a video about her feelings for Bray and how she feels Antonia is trying to take Bray away from her. This upsets Antonia immensely and she posts on the comments board that she wishes that Bray had not kissed her and that she did not know what she was going to do about their relationship.

Her mood only worsens when she discovers that Mitch is dating Chas, revealing that the only reason she agreed to come was because she was interested in Mitch. She believes they are overreacting, but changes her tune when Order operatives show up at the house. She reluctantly apologizes to the others, though Jayde is the only one who appears to have acknowledged her apology.
