Last night I asked Aly if she would go out to dinner with me as a way of apologizing for my awkwardness the past few days. And, I also wanted to talk about this major revelation of mine in progress. So, I suggested this Albanian restaurant, and Aly said we couldn't go there because 1) last week, she hooked up with this guy named Milo who worked at the bar, and 2) she said it was too much of a chick place. So instead, Aly suggested the steakhouse up the street, where there's this dashing waiter named Eric that she totally wants to get on. Yeah. That kinda took me off guard. I spent the whole evening feeling really stupid for misreading Aly's interests. This point was further underscored by Aly staying at the restaurant until Eric got off work and me walking home alone. '''Rachel:''' So I think I overreacted the other day. And, for the record, I don't want [[Aly Zarin|Aly]] to move out. It's just that the other night brought up some things that I try not to think about. See, as far back as I can remember, I've always just felt... different than everyone else. Maybe it's because I was always a bit of a tomboy. I wasn't quite like other girls, but it didn't really get in the way of me making friends. That is, up until Junior High. Over the summer between sixth and seventh grade, everything changed. Only, it changed for everybody else, except for me I guess. And almost immediately everybody started pointing out how... different I was. And it got meaner and meaner until everyday I was getting into fights at school. Being different wasn't a good thing. Finally, it got to the point where I felt like I didn't have any other options except to be what was considered normal. But for the past few years, I feel like I've just been... acting normal, and that different feeling has never really gone away. And I guess I've just been... afraid to explore the reasons why. Granted, where I'm from being a vegetarian is considered an alternative lifestyle. So when it comes to something as controversial as my sexual orientation, I never allowed myself to think there was anything but one option. But deep down, I always wondered if that's why I felt so different. So, the other night, when I noticed how Aly was looking at me, it dawned on me that I'm at a place in my life where I have the freedom to question things. And it was like all this fear and anxiety about the unknown... hit me all at once. And it really freaked me out. Maybe I should see if Aly wants to go out to dinner tomorrow night. In fact, I feel really awful about how I've been avoiding her these past few days.

==About Myself==
I have several interests, as I am a very diverse person. I love literature, and am planning to be an author when I grow up. I love music (rock and hip-hop in particular), and art. I am also very interested in the histories of nations. Despite my love of literature and history, I hate school. It's one thing to learn all of these things and have to do work on them and take quizzes, tests, and exams on them, but to learn all of that and then get yelled at for no reason just because teachers feel like it? No. I'm going to a new school next year and I can't wait until school's out on the 4th of June. I'm currently single, and that's good because my exes have all taken a turn for the worse. My best friend's name is Nick; he rocks too. I have a Nokia 5300 XpressMusic from T-Mobile, and that rocks too. Hehe. I have a sister named Stephanie who can get annoying at times, and parents who can also get on my nerves like crazy. It may sound odd coming from a 12 year old boy, but I love to clean and organize. If something is messed up, it gets on my nerves. That's why I'm fixing up this user page! Perhaps my biggest interest is lonelygirl15, and getting my hands on some [[lonelycrack]]. I go on the main page every day after school and check for a new video, then edit the LGPedia until my parents get mad at me. My favorite film is Freedom Writers; if you haven't seen it, you should definitely check it out. My dream is to become and LGPedia administrator.

The '''Elders''', also known as '''The Order of Denderah''' ([[A Solid Lead]], April 26th, 2007) are the utmost figures of authority in the [[Hymn of One]].

Many members of the Hymn of One believe it is [[I Completed The Ceremony|an honor]] to be in the presence of an Elder. They greatly respect and revere these men and women. Because they are so important, Elders are extremely well protected by their aggressive, inhumane bodyguards called [[Shadow]]s, who cannot leave their sides unless permission is given.

However, it seems that the Elders are nothing more than the greedy masterminds behind [[the Order]] and more specifically, [[the Ceremony (ritual)|the Ceremony]]. The Elders are very old, as their name implies, and in order to stay alive as long as possible, they receive a transfusion of the blood of [[trait positive]] girls, such as [[Bree]]. Apparantly there are twelve Elders who rotate in turn for a chance to be the recepient of a new Ceremony girl's life-giving blood.

'''Genevieve Strathcorran''' (Better known as '''Kate''') is the main character of the [[KateModern]] series. She is a 23-year-old university student who is studying art. She wants to fit in with her friends and has problems with her parents. She lives in an East London flat with her friend [[Charlie]]. She likes making art videos and says that she's signed up for Bebo to showcase her art.

"Kate" is actually an alias that she made up when she met Charlie. When Kate was a child she had awful night terrors. Eventually they went away, but recently, they started [[Awful Dream|coming back]]. She went to see her doctor, who did a blood test, which revealed that [[Kate's blood]] was "abnormal." She went to see a specialist, but ended up [[I can't remember anything!|losing her memory]] of the entire event. She tried to seek help, and found [[Steve]].

Steve took Kate back to the office where she had been treated by the specialist, only for Kate to find that the specialist [[Carnaby Street, Saturday 18th August, 10AM|was murdered]]. It was widely assumed that Steve had something to do with this. Eventually, it came to light that he was actually [[The Prisoner|trying to help Kate]] and things started to look up.

Soon though, Kate realized that the specialist was not, in fact, dead, and that the "police officer" who had told her so was the specialist's son, [[Dudley]]. Dudley [[Who Watches The Watcher?|sent Kate a message]] saying that he and his father would like a chance to explain what happened. Kate and Charlie went with Dudley, to a location in the middle of nowhere to [[Girl Power|hear what he had to say]]. [[Tariq]], Kate's boyfriend, tried to join them, but Kate refused to let him come. Because of this, Tariq [[The End|ended their relationship]]. Meanwhile, Kate [[Dr. Weirdo|met up with]] [[Dr. William Griffin]], who told her that his "''experiments with the trait positive girls showed that they had something more than the longevity that we believe provides the power for the Order.''" This freaked Kate out a great deal and made her [[Pest Control|very angry]] at Dudley and Dr. Griffin.

In spite of all of this negativity, Kate received some [[Dream Lover|great news]] -- her art was going to be featured in the gallery of one of Kate's favorite artists, [[Michelle Clore]]. Kate [[Dudley did it!|was very excited to attend]], but things turned sour when [[The Gallery - 6pm 22nd September 2007|a man fired a shot]] and exclaimed, "''We will bring down the Order!!''" Michelle tried to thank Kate for saving her life, and took a hold of her hands. Kate jerked her hands back quickly, as though she was burned, and ran from the art gallery in terror.

After a short vacation in [[Devon]] with Charlie, Kate [[Why?|met with Michelle Clore]] on October 1st. It is unknown what Michelle Clore told her, but Kate was visibly upset during their meeting and Kate's behavior changed dramatically afterwards. Kate assaulted Charlie and willingly got into a van with a man in a dark suit and sunglasses.

After a three week absence, [[Kate Returns|Kate returned]] dressed in black clothes and sunglasses, similar to other members of the Order. She explained that she was studying art with Michelle Clore although this is most likely not the truth. The next day, she [[Birthday Surprise|visited Tariq]] and revealed that her real name is Genevieve.

Kate came home one day to find [[Creepy|Dudley beating]] Charlie when she wouldn't give him the [[Trait Negative]] serum he was after. Kate became furious at seeing her friend abused and proceeded to shove Dudley off of Charlie. However, she pushed him a bit too hard, and he ended up falling out of the window to his death. An upset [[Dr. William Griffin]] fled from the scene, only to be chased by Kate, who demanded to know why he and his son wouldn't just leave her (and Charlie) alone. Dr. Griffin replied that the Order is evil and must be destroyed.

Realizing that these people would never leave her friend alone if she remained [[trait positive]], Charlie injected Kate with the serum. Doing so, made her trait negative, thereby negating her desirability to [[the Order]], [[Dudley|the]] [[Dr. William Griffin|Griffins]], and the [[Hymn of One]]. However, it does not appear that this was what Kate wanted, as she started to cry, offered a cryptic apology, and ran off.

Since Kate is the same "trait-positive" as the girls in the [[Lonelygirl15]] series, it is unlikely that she is "trait-negative" after just one [[Creepy|injection]]. She was with [[Michelle Clore]] and [[The Order]] for almost a two-month period where she was never heard from.

It was revealed in [[Coming Home for Xmas]] that Michelle duped Kate into believing that Kate was an Elder whose memory was erased. In actuality, Michelle was keeping an eye on Kate to make sure her trait positive levels became normal again. This implies that Kate was being prepared for the [[Ceremony]]. Once Kate found out, she ran off with a list of genetically altered trait positives and lived on the streets. Kate's friends believed that Kate defected back to Michelle. Michelle [[Kate Come Home|admitted]] that she had a team trying to track down Kate and did not know her whereabouts.

Kate has since [[Kate Positive|posted a vlog]], stating that she has found her purpose in life- to save the genetically engineered trait positives that Dr. Griffin created.

It is now confirmed that on January 13th, 2008, Kate was [[I Miss You...|stabbed]] on [[Brick Lane]]. The reasons for this event are unknown.

'''Rachel:''' So I think I overreacted the other day. And, for the record, I don't want [[Aly Zarin|Aly]] to move out. It's just that the other night brought up some things that I try not to think about. See, as far back as I can remember, I've always just felt... different than everyone else. Maybe it's because I was always a bit of a tomboy. I wasn't quite like other girls, but it didn't really get in the way of me making friends. That is, up until Junior High. Over the summer between sixth and seventh grade, everything changed. Only, it changed for everybody else, except for me I guess. And almost immediately everybody started pointing out how... different I was. And it got meaner and meaner until everyday I was getting into fights at school. Being different wasn't a good thing. Finally, it got to the point where I felt like I didn't have any other options except to be what was considered normal. But for the past few years, I feel like I've just been... acting normal, and that different feeling has never really gone away. And I guess I've just been... afraid to explore the reasons why. Granted, where I'm from being a vegetarian is considered an alternative lifestyle. So when it comes to something as controversial as my sexual orientation, I never allowed myself to think there was anything but one option. But deep down, I always wondered if that's why I felt so different. So, the other night, when I noticed how Aly was looking at me, it dawned on me that I'm at a place in my life where I have the freedom to question things. And it was like all this fear and anxiety about the unknown... hit me all at once. And it really freaked me out. Maybe I should see if Aly wants to go out to dinner tomorrow night. In fact, I feel really awful about how I've been avoiding her these past few days.
