'''Itscassie''' is a [[YouTube]] user who claims to be the [[Cassie]] mentioned by [[Bree]]. Her videos are generally dark both literally and figuratively. In them, she whispers because she claims that nighttime is the only time she has that is safe to make her videos, as she is held captive by [[the Order]]. While having little control over her situation, it does supposedly give her inside information at times.

Although there is no direct evidence that Bree watches the videos, Cassie acts as though she is in contact with Bree, who is supposedly watching them all, but avoiding acknowledging them out of concern for Cassie's safety. Various information from the main series has been integrated into the itscassie series, including the use of [[Enochian]], mysterious [[Bree's injections|injections]], discussion of the kidnapping of Bree's parents, references to [[Watcher]]s, and of course integration of what little information Bree has divulged about Cassie.

In the early videos, very little is seen of Cassie's surroundings, or of Cassie herself. Aside from the videos being made in the dark, Cassie wears a wig that covers not only her hair, but much of her face. Shortly after an appearance on LG15.com's chat room on December 21st, Cassie began appearing without the wig, claiming it had been taken from her room by the Order. Oddly enough (and commented on by Cassie herself in later videos) despite members of the Order occasionally confiscating things from her room, she is allowed to keep her computer and webcam.

The itscassie videos have not been confirmed to be in any way related to LG15 and there is controversy on the subject. The itscassie videos are extremely choppy, dark and mysterious. Some suspect this to be the same Cassie from the [[OpAphid]] videos, though due to the limited footage of her an accurate comparison is not possible. A few fans thought early on that Cassie might be played by [[Jessica Lee Rose]], but since losing the wig and showing more of her face, almost nobody thinks this anymore.

Tachyon is the second major player in the [[OpAphid]] storyline/[[ARG]]. Tachyon, which is the code name for an operative who infiltrated the OpAphid organization, is the spokeswoman for most of the opposition to OpAphid's activities. We were first introduced to Tachyon when OpAphid informed us that someone had [[The Action of an Enemy - Be Careful|stolen]] a significant amount of confidential information from one of their information-gathering facilities, and asked us to track the thief for clues about what [[Drop 1 (bowling for light)|information]] had been stolen and where it might be headed. Further search revealed the thief to be Tachyon, a spy for another secret organization known sometimes as The Family, The Bureau, The Ring, or just Mom and Dad.

For reasons unknown to us, Tachyon has not chosen, or has not been able, to go "home" to Mom and Dad. Instead, she has conveyed her stolen information, as well as anything new that she learns or discovers, through her partner, codenamed "[[Brother]]" or "10033." Brother and Tachyon, who are not actually related, communicate through voicemail, [[Tachyon's Profile Updates Archive|YouTube profile updates]], and [[Everything You Need To Play OpAphid#Previous Drops:|drops]], or physical locations where Tachyon leaves items for Brother to recover. It appears that although Tachyon frequently finds Brother irritating, dense, and slow, she does what she can to protect and help him (such as keeping OpAphid from blowing him up, and facilitating his attack on Gemma).

Tachyon herself is well-characterized by her YouTube tagline about her location: "By the time you know, I'll already be gone." She responds to some people who send her messages via YouTube, but her replies can be witty, helpful, vague, misleading, or simply unrelated to the question asked, seemingly on a whim. She dislikes giving out information about herself or her past, although some of her communication has suggested that she might be connected to the family [[Gemma]] talks about in her video "[[They Disappeared]]," even as the information she leaves behind reveals more and more about her own personal story. Tachyon does not appear to stay in one place for any length of time, if she can help it, and is extremely fond of codes and cryptography, which she often employs to protect the information she distributes.

Tachyon was first discovered by YouTube user LonWpnX who looked up all the [[LG15]] tags. The similar style to OpAphid and the similar story to Bree caught their eye. When the user was subscribed to, the vids were pulled until the release of [[The Action of an Enemy - Be Careful]].

==Identity==
There has been much speculation as to the true identity of Tachyon, especially after the video [[The Human Ransom]]. A [http://youtube.com/watch?v=oCYIyoSCnrc video] posted by xitsMx suggests that Tachyon is indeed [[Cassie]], and some fans also think this could be the case. Others have suggested that she is the girl that [[Gemma]] mentioned in the video [[They Disappeared]]. Some have even gone so far as to suggest that it's [[Gemma]] herself. There has also been more tentative speculation that Tachyon may be [[Nikki Bower]], and although there are some links and similarities, it is a much more abstract thought to prove.

Tachyon is also a hypothetical particle that moves faster than the speed of light. In the language of special relativity, a tachyon is a particle with space-like four-momentum and imaginary proper time. A tachyon is constrained to the space-like portion of the energy-momentum graph. Therefore, it can never slow to light speed or below. To date, the existence of tachyons has been neither confirmed nor explicitly ruled out.

Tachyon is the second major player in the [[OpAphid]] storyline/[[ARG]]. Tachyon, which is the code name for an operative who infiltrated the OpAphid organization, is the spokeswoman for most of the opposition to OpAphid's activities. We were first introduced to Tachyon when OpAphid informed us that someone had [[The Action of an Enemy - Be Careful|stolen]] a significant amount of confidential information from one of their information-gathering facilities, and asked us to track the thief for clues about what [[Drop 1 (bowling for light)|information]] had been stolen and where it might be headed. Further search revealed the thief to be Tachyon, a spy for another secret organization known sometimes as The Family, The Bureau, The Ring, or just Mom and Dad.

For reasons unknown to us, Tachyon has not chosen, or has not been able, to go "home" to Mom and Dad. Instead, she has conveyed her stolen information, as well as anything new that she learns or discovers, through her partner, codenamed "[[Brother]]" or "10033." Brother and Tachyon, who are not actually related, communicate through voicemail, [[Tachyon's Profile Updates Archive|YouTube profile updates]], and [[Everything You Need To Play OpAphid#Previous Drops:|drops]], or physical locations where Tachyon leaves items for Brother to recover. It appears that although Tachyon frequently finds Brother irritating, dense, and slow, she does what she can to protect and help him (such as keeping OpAphid from blowing him up, and facilitating his attack on Gemma).

Tachyon herself is well-characterized by her YouTube tagline about her location: "By the time you know, I'll already be gone." She responds to some people who send her messages via YouTube, but her replies can be witty, helpful, vague, misleading, or simply unrelated to the question asked, seemingly on a whim. She dislikes giving out information about herself or her past, although some of her communication has suggested that she might be connected to the family [[Gemma]] talks about in her video "[[They Disappeared]]," even as the information she leaves behind reveals more and more about her own personal story. Tachyon does not appear to stay in one place for any length of time, if she can help it, and is extremely fond of codes and cryptography, which she often employs to protect the information she distributes.

Tachyon was first discovered by YouTube user LonWpnX who looked up all the [[LG15]] tags. The similar style to OpAphid and the similar story to Bree caught their eye. When the user was subscribed to, the vids were pulled until the release of [[The Action of an Enemy - Be Careful]].

==Identity==
There has been much speculation as to the true identity of Tachyon, especially after the video [[The Human Ransom]]. A [http://youtube.com/watch?v=oCYIyoSCnrc video] posted by xitsMx suggests that Tachyon is indeed [[Cassie]], and some fans also think this could be the case. Others have suggested that she is the girl that [[Gemma]] mentioned in the video [[They Disappeared]]. Some have even gone so far as to suggest that it's [[Gemma]] herself. There has also been more tentative speculation that Gemma may be Nikki Bower, and although there are some links and similarities, it is a much more abstract thought to prove.

Tachyon is also a hypothetical particle that moves faster than the speed of light. In the language of special relativity, a tachyon is a particle with space-like four-momentum and imaginary proper time. A tachyon is constrained to the space-like portion of the energy-momentum graph. Therefore, it can never slow to light speed or below. To date, the existence of tachyons has been neither confirmed nor explicitly ruled out.

(Part II)]] revealed to fans that Gemma was in Southern California and that she was interacting with [[Lucy]]. The videos were taken to be a message that Gemma was affiliated with The Order and likely working against Bree's interests. Many fans were reluctant to believe that Gemma had been a part of the Order all along, and wondered whether the Order had caught her sometime after the [[Scared To Go Home]] video. If that was the case, then some of Gemma's earlier advice might have been in good faith.

However, Tachyon's [[Gemma? (Part III)]] showed that the location of Scared To Go Home was actually Southern California. In this video, Gemma is also filmed at a payphone saying "Are you sure the 'D' in APHID is not an option?" Clearly, Gemma was even more deeply involved than previously thought, although it is unclear whom it is that she is working with. From what was shown of her phone conversation, it seems she works with [[OpAphid]]. Whether [[OpAphid]] is the [[Order]] or a part of it is still unknown. The [[Tachyon]] videos were very damaging to Gemma's credibility. All the information and advice that came from Gemma is suspect, as it is very possible that she was working with [[OpAphid]] since she first started posting videos.

On January 8th, 2007, Tachyon and [[Brother]] jacked Gemma's [[YouTube]] account, adding slightly altered versions of [[Tachyon]] and [[Brother]]'s five Gemma videos, and changing the profile to

In the video [[Gemma (Part V)]], it appears that [[Brother/10033|Brother]] aims a gun at Gemma, possibly in an attempt to kill her. Her death appears to be confirmed in the [[OpAphid]] video [[The Ends Justify The Means]], where a message in braille appears that angrams to "RIP Gemma." Like [[Bree's father|Bree's dad]], her death appears to have taken place on Dec. 31, 2006.

Recently, however, OpAphid updated their Youtube profile, which now says (among other things),

"Rumors of MY death have been greatly exaggerated..."

It is uncertain whether this refers to Gemma or not.

==Revelations of Order Involvement==

(Part II)]] revealed to fans that Gemma was in Southern California and that she was interacting with [[Lucy]]. The videos were taken to be a message that Gemma was affiliated with The Order and likely working against Bree's interests. Many fans were reluctant to believe that Gemma had been a part of the Order all along, and wondered whether the Order had caught her sometime after the [[Scared To Go Home]] video. If that was the case, then some of Gemma's earlier advice might have been in good faith.

However, Tachyon's [[Gemma? (Part III)]] showed that the location of Scared To Go Home was actually Southern California. In this video, Gemma is also filmed at a payphone saying "Are you sure the 'D' in APHID is not an option?" Clearly, Gemma was even more deeply involved than previously thought, although it is unclear whom it is that she is working with. From what was shown of her phone conversation, it seems she works with [[OpAphid]]. Whether [[OpAphid]] is the [[Order]] or a part of it is still unknown. The [[Tachyon]] videos were very damaging to Gemma's credibility. All the information and advice that came from Gemma is suspect, as it is very possible that she was working with [[OpAphid]] since she first started posting videos.

On January 8th, 2007, Tachyon and [[Brother]] jacked Gemma's [[YouTube]] account, adding slightly altered versions of [[Tachyon]] and [[Brother]]'s five Gemma videos, and changing the profile to

In the video [[Gemma (Part V)]], it appears that [[Brother/10033|Brother]] aims a gun at Gemma, possibly in an attempt to kill her. Her death appears to be confirmed in the [[OpAphid]] video [[The Ends Justify The Means]], where a message in braille appears that angrams to "RIP Gemma." Like [[Bree's father|Bree's dad]], her death appears to have taken place on Dec. 31, 2006.

Recently, however, OpAphid updated their Youtube profile, which now says

It is uncertain whether this refers to Gemma or not.

In them, she whispers because she claims that nighttime is the only time she has that is safe to make her videos, as she is held captive by [[the Order]]. While having little control over her situation, it does supposedly give her inside information at times.

Although there is no direct evidence that Bree watches the videos, Cassie acts as though she is in contact with Bree, who is supposedly watching them all, but avoiding acknowledging them out of concern for Cassie's safety. Various information from the main series has been integrated into the itscassie series, including the use of [[Enochian]], mysterious [[Bree's injections|injections]], discussion of the kidnapping of Bree's parents, references to [[Watcher]]s, and of course integration of what little information Bree has divulged about Cassie.

In the early videos, very little is seen of Cassie's surroundings, or of Cassie herself. Aside from the videos being made in the dark, Cassie wears a wig that covers not only her hair, but much of her face. Shortly after an appearance on LG15.com's chat room on December 21st, Cassie began appearing without the wig, claiming it had been taken from her room by the Order. Oddly enough (and commented on by Cassie herself in later videos) despite members of the Order occasionally confiscating things from her room, she is allowed to keep her computer and webcam.

The itscassie videos have not been confirmed to be in any way related to LG15 and there is controversy on the subject. The itscassie videos are extremely choppy, dark and mysterious. They are possibly related to videos by another YouTube user [[Fourthface]]. Some suspect this to be the same Cassie from the [[OpAphid]] videos, though due to the limited footage of her an accurate comparison is not possible. A few fans thought early on that Cassie might be played by [[Jessica Rose]], but since losing the wig and showing more of her face, almost nobody thinks this anymore.
