==Necessary?==
There are many articles about the strange tags (such as [[Hamster]], [[Llama]], and [[Evolution]]) that contain very little information on how they are connected to the [[LG15]] series, but rather give the Wikipedia definition of the word. I remember [[User:Brucker|Brucker]] wondering why I deleted the content on some of the strange tag pages. It was because of this discussion, but I'm wondering what everyone thinks should be done with this category. I don't think that {{tl|tag}} has been added to any of these pages because the bot only did that to pages in the Category:YouTube tags. Should {{tl|tag}} be expanded to indicate that a tag is a "strange tag"? Should the format of the pages stay pretty much the same or should it change? Finally, how do we classify what exactly makes a tag "strange"? Sorry, more questions than answers, but I'm really not sure what to do here.--[[User:Jonpro|Jonpro]] 11:53, 20 March 2007 (CDT)

:Aw, sorry Jonpro. Here's my 2c. Though most strange tags remain completely random, some have garnered meaning over time. Perhaps the best way to deal with this is to move the content of those articles into a Strange tags article. We open the article with an intro saying that what a strange tag is, and then we mention the significance of those tags which have proven to mean something. We keep Category Strange tags and write a blurb saying "For the full article, go to "Strange tags". I wouldn't want to altogether delete those pages since some are kind of notable, like aphid and tachyon--even kiwi means something, even if at first it seems strange. :What if there was one page for all the strange tags that seem insignificant, and then separate pages for all of the explainable strange tags. All the tags in the category without their own page could link to the insignificant strange tag page. [[Lonelygirl15]] began in May 2006 on [[YouTube]] when a young girl named [[Bree]] started posting videos about her life, her religion, and her relationship with a boy named [[Daniel]]. The videos quickly grew to have a huge following, but fans began to suspect that Bree was not real. After [[Down The Rabbit Hole: The Hunt For Bree|a lot of sleuthing]] fans of the series discovered that Bree was in fact an actress, played by [[Jessica Lee Rose]] and that the show was a production.

Since the reveal, the show has continued with new videos released several times a week, new characters and even an [[Alternate Reality Game]]. While the videos still appear on YouTube, the show is now hosted at [[lg15.com]]. Many fans of lonelygirl15 have created their own stories, and in addition to the lonelygirl15 [[canon]] there are numerous [[LG15 Spin-offs|fan fiction]] series.

The LGPedia attempts to document it all: the story, the characters, the fans and what's happened behind the scenes. If you are unfamliar with the lonelygirl15 story, please feel free to examine [[The Story So Far...]] to gain an insight as to what has happened so far in the series. There are well over 200 lonelygirl15 videos now.

Thanks to the success of LG15, [[the Creators]] managed to strike a deal with social networking site [[Bebo]] to develop a similar series for the UK market. [[KateModern]] exists in the same universe as Lonelygirl15, but is based in London; according to [[Miles Beckett|Miles]], ''"The characters 'can' communicate with each other but it remains to be seen how much they will. Things like the Order, the Hymn of One, and all of that larger mythology will be in both series to varying degrees. Think of it like, the Order, HOO, the stuff about the blood, the girls, the Elders, etc. etc. are all the same across both shows. But, the characters and plot are different. [...]"''.

Not much is known about KateModern yet, as the [[Fight and Flight|first video]] was released on July 17, but we're confident we'll soon be able to cover KateModern just as well as LG15.
