'''Tariq''' <small><[[Bebo]]:Tariq287></small> is a character in the [[KateModern]] web series. He lives in East London and is a West Ham fan. He is dating [[Kate]], but [[Lovers Quarrel|was hurt]] when he found out that she [[A Friendly Lie|lied about her name]]. He recently started a company with his friend [[Gavin]]. He is looking forward to the time when their company is successful enough that he can afford a swimming pool. After Kate met Steve, Tariq became suspicious of him. In the end he attacked Steve, and Kate broke up with him.

Kate soon realized how crazy she'd become and reconciled with Tariq, having gone with him to see Disturbia and just hanging out with him in general. Not much has really been said about him other than that, but we hope things are going well.

He lives in East London.

In [[The Prisoner]], it is revealed that Gavin may be in the [[Hymn of One]]. Later, it was said that he merely attended a meeting of it.

He also had relations with Charlie, which gave her a slight scare when she thought she may be pregnant. Gavin had no idea of these thoughts, though, until her 'False Alarm' video. He's a bit shaken up, as it seems.
