Everytime I think about trying to rewrite it I get stuck on this. I feel like most references just sprang from Crowley, since people started researching and drawing conclusions from his picture in Bree's room. The mysterious ceremony also sparked a lot of speculation about blood-letting and supernatural communication, etc, but none of this was directly referenced in the series and I think it might be a tad misleading to mention them... so I'm left with litle material.
