A Change of Place is the fourth pilot submission for EQAL's first LG15: The Show Is Yours contest.

Monica: Hi guys, it's me again. I know it's been a while since my last video, but a lot's happened. My financial troubles never got any better, and I wound up having to leave school because of them. And that scholarship you guys were all worried about, the one with the inverted fermata, yeah, (Holds up a Hymn of One flyer) I got a great flyer from them. But no cash, so here I am. I decided not to go back home. I wasn't really ready for that. And, I didn't want to stay there either. So I found an apartment a couple of hours away, and I've been working at a local coffee shop. Things are going pretty well there, except for the fact that I'm still sick all the time. Frankly, I'm sick of being sick. The owner's been working with me on my hours, since I've been sick so much, and he's pretty good about letting me adjust them all the time, but he's gotten in the habit of changing them. Constantly. Which kills any other plans I might have made. My mom's trying to get me to go to the doctor, but I totally hate those guys. So my roommate, Lexi, has been hooking me up with all these home remedies, which work pretty well for a while, a few days or so, but then I wind up even sicker than I was before. (Pause) Oh, yeah, my brother, Cody. He's going to come stay with me and Lexi for a while. My dad, the (Air quotes) "great architect", has the opportunity to help design this new museum space in London, and they thought it would be a good chance to take him with them, to see the world and stuff, but they're going to be so busy with the project that he'd wind up alone in a hotel room all the time. They asked if he could come stay with us, and Lexi said it was fine with her, so he's coming up in a couple of weeks. I know most of you wouldn't get it, but Cody and I are really close. He's kinda my best friend. (Camera image becomes distorted, then comes back.) Sorry, new camera. Not any better than the old one. Like I was saying, Cody's coming to stay with us in a while, and thankfully he won;t have to miss any school because of it, since he's home-schooled now. I'm not exactly sure why, my parents haven't told me, but apparently there was some incident at the school and he was "asked nicely" to leave. I think we all know what that means. Well, it's good to (Pause) see you guys again. Has anyone heard anything from Greg Gallows? I noticed his MySpace was gone, and the other day that his YouTube is gone too. I miss that guy. Well, I guess this is Monica Wilson signing off from an undisclosed apartment.
