Transcript

(Daniel and Sarah are sitting in the van.)

Daniel: So... after yesterday's video, this is probably the last place you think you'd see me. Another stakeout. But I decided... I can go to film school and fight the Order. I mean... if I can shoot video while being chased by guys with guns, I can multi-task this, right?

Sarah: Right! You're a great multi-tasker. That's why you can always remember to put the seat down after you pee. Hey, here he comes.

(Camera pans to Jonas, running towards the van. He gets in a slams the door.)

Jonas: Guys.

Daniel: What? What?

Jonas: The truck just left the warehouse.

Daniel: Did you see what they put in it?

Jonas: Just like a bunch of boxes.

Sarah: Boxes of what?

Jonas: I dunno. That's the million dollar question.

(Cuts to later, Daniel in the van alone.)

Daniel: All right, we followed this truck driver out to this cafe. I guess he's gonna get something to eat, but-- that's him right there!

(Cuts to young man in a gray t-shirt, jeans, and baseball cap, walking outside.)

Daniel: All right, I'm gonna go in and take a... just keep an eye on him. (cuts back to Daniel) Hopefully Jonas and Sarah will be able to take a look at his truck.

(Cuts to a shot of the truck, then cuts to later, inside the cafe. We see the young man sipping coffee.)

Daniel: Does that even look like a truck driver to you? I... I thought they all had leathery skin, and looked scraggly, salt-and-pepper beards... I don't know, a potbelly or somethin'? Weird...

(Cuts to Daniel running outside. We see an empty parking space.)

Daniel: Wait a minute... What the--? The truck's missing! (calling out) Hey, Jonas! Sarah! (runs over to the van; it's empty) They're not here either! (whispers) Shit! (cuts to Daniel's face) All right, that guy was watching inside. He-- he wasn't the driver. I mean, I just got out here, the truck's gone... I don't know where it is! I mean, it was right there. And now, Jonas and Sarah are gone as well, I just... I don't know where the hell to go now! I... (whispers) dammit. what now?

Notes

  • Most people were puzzled as to why this truck was significant,so Daniel left a comment later that day clearing it up:
"Sorry, guys, should have told you the truck was from the Lullaby Project. Jonas found out they were sending a shipment off to one of their “missions,” but nobody would say where it was going or what the shipment was. So… I don’t know. Still no word from them. I’m pretty freaked out."
