Steve: (running) I haven't been online all week. I was trying to - I just needed some time. But then I logged on. And I saw Charlie's page] and I couldn't believe my eyes. How could she listen to those crazy idiots in America? Turning Kate trait negative is plain ridiculous. Where is it? So, I'm on my way over to Charlie's now, to warn her, not to get mixed up in 'em. Come on, you can do this. Kate being trait positive is the only ... positive thing in all the madness. (camera pans to two men walking across the street toward Charlie's building) Shit! What are those two maniacs doing here? (hides behind the corner of the building) Oh, God. (begins to dial the police) Ah, can't call the police. You can't go in. Come on, Steven!! For once in your life be a man. (pauses in enlightenment) Hey, the song. (runs toward Kate getting out of a car) Kate! Kate! Kate! You can't go in there. The specialist's in there with--
(Kate opens the door to her building.)
Kate: Really? (closes door behind her)
Steve: Kate! (tries to open door) Kate! You can't go in there! They're trying to inject you with a trait negative serum! Kate! (walks away from door) Oh. Oh, God. Oh, God. (in anxiety) Come on! If I don't go up there, Kate and Charlie can be in serious danger. If I do go up there, they'll probably - they'll probably try to kill me. So what do you do? (a scream is heard, then a thud) Shit. (runs toward source of sound. Sees a man lying on the floor) Oh! Shit! Shit! (runs closer) Oh my God! It's Dudley! Oh, shit. (takes pulse) He's dead. (camera pans up to show Kate looking over the rail) Kate!
