(Footage from the car is seen as it approaches a gas station. Cut to Jennie in the stopped car.)
Jennie: Hi, guys. I betcha didn't think you'd be seeing me again. After all, I did say I wanted to bail. But, here I am. I don't know. I guess that's just the kind of girl I am--curious, fickle, reckless. The other word for it is "damaged".
(Cut to Jennie filming Jonas washing the windows of the car.)
Jennie: Seriously though, I guess it's the anthropologist in me that needs to study these fractured groups of people. People, crisis, on the fringes. Or maybe it's just that I'm attracted to people who are psychologically unhealthy.
(Jonas gets in the car.)
Jonas: Yeah.
Jennie: Hi, Jonas.
Jonas: Where the hell are Sarah and Daniel?

Jennie: (getting out of the car) I'm gonna go get them. Okay?
Jonas: (sighs) Okay. You know, sometimes I seriously think that Jennie's the only one that's taking this thing serious. Besides me. Anyway, so we're gonna be crashing at Jennie's friend's place tonight in Berkeley. And Daniel and I, we have some business to take care of in the city tomorrow. But we're gonna be at Ghiradelli Square at four o'clock, by some fountain. Please show up. We've got something really, really important to show you. All right? Thanks.
