Backfire is the forty-second video in the LG15: The Last video series. It is also the ninth video of Quietus.

Transcript

(Hera, her Shadow, one of the Surveillance Guys, and Mrs. Cooper are in the Order Piano Room. Hera is sitting with the Shadow standing by her side, and the Surveillance Guy is restraining a struggling Mrs. Cooper. Suddenly, the other Surveillance Guy brings in Jayde and Chasina.)

Jayde: (running to Mrs. Cooper's side) Mum!

Mrs. Cooper: Jayde!

Jayde: What are you doing here?!

(The Surveillance Guy pulls Mrs. Cooper away from Jayde, and Chasina nervously backs away from Jayde as well.)

Chasina: Jayde! What's going on?!

(Chasina backs into the other Surveillance Guy, who grabs her hands.)

Hera: One girl?! Jayde, that's not what we agreed.

Jayde: You need to let my mom go, and I'll give you Chloe.

Chasina: You turned me in for your mom?!

Hera: Where is Chloe?

(The Shadow pulls out a gun and walks towards Jayde.)

Jayde: You can't shoot me; you wouldn't dare. You need me.

Hera: True.

(The Shadow puts down his gun, then aims it at Mrs. Cooper, who almost falls to the ground in shock.)

Hera: Where is Chloe?

Jayde: (almost crying) I-- I don't know, I don't know.

Hera: Too bad.

(The Shadow shoots Mrs. Cooper, who falls dead to the floor. Jayde begins crying and rushes towards her.)

Jayde: Mum! Mum! I'm sorry, Mum! Mum, I'm sorry! I tried so hard! Mum, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, Mum! Mum, I'm sorry, Mum, I tried! Mum, I love you! I'm sorry, Chas, I'm sorry!

(The Surveillance Guy pulls Jayde away from Mrs. Cooper and drags her out of the room. Xavier walks in from the opposite side and goes towards Hera's chair.)

Xavier: We are bringing them in.

Hera: Good.

Xavier: You should join us.

(Xavier begins to leave, but Hera stops him.)

Hera: Take her with you?

(Xavier grabs Chasina and guides her out of the room. The Surveillance Guy follows, and so does Hera and her Shadow.)
