Translation

(All lines in this transcript were either originally in English or have been translated into English. N1ckola intro is shown. Daniel and Ola walk in silence down a deserted London street. Daniel puts his arm around Ola.)

Daniel: They won't call.

Ola: They will. They promised after all... and if they don't, we will. It would be a shame to lose contact.

Daniel: (looking exasperated) You know I'm not talking about them.

Ola: Could you stop?

Daniel: Yeah, because it's none of my business, right? I can see how you react. Just like now.

Ola: Cool. Great that we understood each other-

(Daniel stops walking and turns to face Ola.)

Daniel: Ola, if you won't do this, then I will.

Ola: Don't you even try! (Starts walking away.)

Daniel: But honey, it's unhealthy!

(Ola stops and gives Daniel a pleading look. Before she can speak, her phone alarm goes off and she gets it out of her pocket, pressing several buttons to access her text message.)

Ola: (Reading Text Message) Thanks for a nice evening. We had fun. Once again, best wishes, Rafał and Magda."

(Daniel puts his arm around her shoulder as she reads the message and they begin walking again.)

Daniel: Yeah that was a nice evening. Being with you is like living with some pipe bomb.

(Ola leans against Daniel and Daniel looks at his watch, and they stop walking again.)

Daniel: It's already tomorrow in Poland. So it's already the end of your birthday.

(Ola sighs and walks away from Daniel towards a parked car.)

Daniel: Now you know you have to get in touch with your parents.

(Ola stops and looks frustrated and appears to be thinking hard. The screen occasionally becomes static and superimposed with a purple tint. A closeup shot of Ola licking her lips in purple static is flashed, then the N1ckola logo and credits are shown.)

Notes

  • The video title is derived from a 2001 book of the same name by Polish poet Julian Kornhauser.
