The Creators have stated that one goal of the lonelygirl15 video series was to include fan interaction. Because of the nature of the project, and the high-level of media attention received, a number of Lonelygirl15 fans have themselves become notable. Many fans have written or blogged about lonelygirl15 or created fan videos and spin-offs of their own. Many of these fans were active at the phorum and The Children of Anchor Cove as they hunted for Bree.
