Voice: Control has been stolen from their hands. The journey has begun. And the fight is far from over. It is our turn. To monitor them, to manipulate the power they weild and turn it against them. Our numbers are growing strong, our reach gradually expanding. We are everywhere. We are waiting. Watching. We have found our leader.

Voice: Soon, we will combat our collective enemies head-on.

(Camera shows logos for Labs and Crowley Collection. The camera then shows the Hymn of None logo. The video is scratchy and old at some parts. The pitch of the voice gets more high.)

Voice: The fountain of youth is real, and it's in the blood of dozens of girls across the world. Their secret is known by few, yet desired by all. They are pawns in the most dangerous of games. We are the Resistance. Our mission is to find these girls, and protect them from those who want to use them, and destroy them. And we document what happens to them, so that their stories live on. This is the story of one of those girls. We are the Resistance. We will not be stopped.

Maggie: Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess. She lived in a magical place filled with wonders. And everyday she was visited by lots of people. They made sure she was healthy and strong, making notes in their little books, recording every minute detail. Every fluxuation. For they knew how special this girl was. And that inside of her, there was something even more special. Her blood. But the girl, she wanted nothing more than to escape from her castle. So everyday she'd watch, and wait, hoping for her chance. Hoping for someone to save her.

Voice: I found you. That means they can find you, too. (Jonas walks into a building. Cut to footage of Jonas walking on the beach.) You go about your business as though nothing happened. As though you were free. None of us are free. No one who's touched them can be.
+

+
(Jonas looks behind his back and walks into a convenience store.)
+

+
Voice: There. You know it too, don't you? (Cut to the camera approaching Jonas from the inside of a purse.) Stop running. Stop hiding. They make fun of you. The community, your friends. (Quotes from community members roll accross the screen as more shots of Jonas walking in crowds are shown.) All of them mocking you for being the one who always gets captured. Constantly lured into unwinnable situations. It's hard, isn't it? All of the people watching, laughing, criticizing. Judging you incompetent.
+

+
(The voice echoes as Jonas walks up a flight of stairs into a building. Cut to the camera slowly ascending a flight of stairs.)
+

+
Voice: I'm not laughing. I'm applauding. You fight when all hope is lost. (The camera zooms in as Jonas walks down a hallway.) You rise to the challenge when the challenge can not be conquered. You are a hero; a leader. Now start acting like it. You are the key, Jonas. They will not let you just slink away to some ordinary life. I will not let you slink away either.
+

+
(The camera pans to the door's handle. A phone is heard ringing on the other side of the door.)
+

+
Jonas: Dammit, Sarah, stop calling me!
+

+
(A slam is heard as Jonas throws the phone, breaking it. Cut to Jonas sitting near a window.)
+

+
Voice: They will not stop. They shall not. Please, Jonas. There is no time left. In just over a week, the auction will begin. (An asterisk and the text "www.crowleycollection.com" appears.) The book will be sold and more girls will die. I know that you know this. I know that it's mixed you up inside. I know that it eats you up inside. I know that you will do the right thing.
+

(Fade to black. Static effect to Jonas in Last Words. In the bottom right are the words Tuesday September 16, 2008 Jonas. Jonas turns on the camera and sighs. Cut to Jonas drinking a bottle of beer. Jonas sighs and turns off the camera. Cut to Jonas surrounded by beer bottles. He sighs and looks at the camera.)
+

+
Jonas: Look, Hymn of None... I don't know who the hell you think you are, but you can't j-- Coming to my front door? (Cut to Jonas drinking from a bottle.) Leave me alone. Look, you want to go off and you want to act like some sort of super hero? Yeah, go- go ahead. Be my guest. But for me? This isn't my fight anymore.
+

+
(Cut to Jonas rubbing his eyes. Cut to Jonas looking uneasily at his hands.)
+

+
Jonas: I, uh- (Laughs.) I'm not a leader. I'm- I'm nobody. And tha- You know what? That's the way I like it. I don't bother anybody and they don't bother me.
+

+
(Jonas drinks from a bottle. Cut to Jonas pacing in the kitchen. A crashing plate is heard.)
+

+
Jonas: Goddammit! You want to go to some stupid auction?
+

+
(Cut to Jonas in front of the camera.)
+

+
Jonas: You don't know about what it is to-to fight; to really, truly fight. And to lose. You don't know me, okay, and you don't know what I've lost.
+

+
(Cut to Jonas pacing in the kitchen, carrying a beer bottle. Cut to Jonas in front of the camera. Cut to Jonas pacing, drinking a beer. Cut to Jonas in front of the camera again.)
+

+
Jonas: So why don't you just do yourself a favor and get lost before you get hurt? And leave me alone. Don't ever contact me again.

Dr. Alderman: And every treatment has it's share of case-specific complications.

(Cut to Dr. Alderman making comments to himself about the script.)

Dr. Alderman: Has it's share of case specific complications, yeah that's the freaking truth.
+

+
(Cut back to Dr. Alderman reading the script from the previous LBL video.)
+
+
Dr. Alderman: No single solution has been offered to try and solve the problem until now.  This is the first prototype of the Labs Strandbox.

(Cut to Dr. Alderman talking to a young woman, who is off-camera.)

Dr. Alderman: The safe and secure dialysis device... You ever had one of those things strapped to you, honey?

(Cut back to Dr. Alderman's script.)

Dr. Alderman: While the basic concept is based upon 19th century technology, it also draws from the best of the 21st century.

Dr. Alderman: The Strandbox automatically guides the needles into the arm, yeah, it does do that...

(Dr. Alderman smiles and nods his head. Cut back to Dr. Alderman reading the script.)

Dr. Alderman: Thus guaranteeing less pain for the patient.  And that's something we can all celebrate.

(Cut to Dr. Alderman making comments.)
+

+
Dr. Alderman: Yeah, fucking celebrate this.

+
(Cut to Dr. Alderman reading the script.)
+

+
Dr. Alderman: (repeated) Less pain, pain, pain, pain, pain, begins now.
+

+
(Cut to Dr. Alderman crumpling the script into a ball and throwing it under his desk. He straightens his jacket.)
+

+
Dr. Alderman: Alright, let's try one.

(Static effect back to more clips of Maggie.)

Maggie: So desired was the princess, that sometimes she had to perform two or three times a day. She wished she didn't have to, but inside she knew she had no choice. But still, she faced the terrible things with a strong will, and a good heart.

(Cut to a different angle of Sarah on her bed. She is holding a stuffed monkey with pom-poms.)

Sarah: J-O-N-A-S, Jonas, Jonas.

+

+
(Cut back to Sarah on her bed.)
+

+
Sarah: The Order is really inconsiderate when it comes to a girl's social life. It's like, you betray them once and POOF! No more dancing, no more boys. Just laying low, and living slow.
+

+
(Cut to Sarah dancing awkwardly with her hands on her hips. Cut back to Sarah on her bed.)
+

+
Sarah: Hymn of None, I'm with you. Jonas, stop being such a wuss. We've made it this far, right? I mean, we can't just give up. Look, I'll be there to help you with whatever you need; I'll do whatever you want. As for everyone else, if the big whiny pretty boy doesn't get on the Internet and George sees Scott patting it up, I want all of you to...
+

+
(Cut to Sarah cheerleading. The text "Bug Jonas @ LG15.com" appears on the screen.)

Sarah: Harass Jonas! Harass him, harass him, harass Jonas. Harass him, harass him, harass Jonas.

(Cut to a black screen and white text that says "No, seriously. He's being a total crybaby. Keep posting on his board 'til he crawls out of his wussy hole." Cut back to Sarah on her bed.)

Maggie: Though she felt alone, she wasn't. Across all of the world, there were dozens, hundreds more, just like her. But for all of these girls, through all of their suffering, there was only one man who could save them. One man with a power to change how this evil king and all of the other evil kings behaved. But he thought he could hide away, burrowing his head in the sand. That only works for so long. Isn't that right, Jonas?

Chapter 1: A Call to Arms is the sixth blog in the LG15: The Resistance blog series. It is also the video for the first chapter in the series.

Transcript

(An edited clip of the video Trailer - LG15: The Resistance plays. The end of the video has been altered as the logos for The Crowley Collection and LifesBlood Labs appear on screen. Cut to the Hymn of None logo.)

Voice: We are the Hymn of None.

(Images of Maggie flash by as the logo fades. Cut to a grid of videos. Most of them are of Maggie and doctors from LifesBlood Labs security cameras, but there are clips of Bree, Kate, Gina, Emma, Jonas, Nadia, Daniel, Charlie, and Steve. It gradually zooms into a center video of Maggie.)

(Static effect to a picture of the LG15: The Resistance logo. Static effect to a video of Maggie in a hospital bed. Also shown are several other clips of Maggie and doctors.)

Maggie: Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess. She lived in a magical place filled with wonders. And everyday she was visited by lots of people. They made sure she was healthy and strong, making notes in their little books, recording every minute detail. Every fluctuation. For they knew how special this girl was. And that inside of her, there was something even more special. Her blood. But the girl, she wanted nothing more than to escape from her castle. So everyday she'd watch, and wait, hoping for her chance. Hoping for someone to save her.

(Static effect to Call to Arms. In the bottom right are the words "Monday; September 15, 2008; Hymn of None". Fade to black. Static effect to Jonas in Last Words. In the bottom right are the words "Tuesday; September 16, 2008; Jonas". Static effect to more clips of Maggie.)

Maggie: And so in every day of the girl's life, from the day she was stolen from her parents, and delivered to the hands of the king,

(A clip of Dr. Leonard J. Alderman is flashed. More clips of Maggie are shown.)

Maggie: who truly learned to treasure her for her specialness, in spite of her protest.

(Static effect to Dr. Alderman in One Evil with Many Faces. In the bottom right are the words "Wednesday; September 17, 2008; Hymn of None". Static effect back to more clips of Maggie.)

Maggie: So desired was the princess, that sometimes she had to perform two or three times a day. She wished she didn't have to, but inside she knew she had no choice. But still, she faced the terrible things with a strong will, and a good heart.

(Static effect to Sarah in Cheer Me Up!. In the bottom right are the words "Thursday; September 18, 2008; Sarah". Static effect back to more clips of Maggie.)

(Static effect to Split. In the bottom right are the words "Friday; September 19, 2008; Hymn of None". Static effect back to more clips of Maggie and Beaumont.)

Maggie: And so in every day of the princess's life, her humanity stripped away, her life lived at someone else's whim. That all changed when she met a boy named Beaumont. He showed her kindness, compassion, love. But that is a story for another day.

(Static effect to a picture of the LG15: The Resistance logo, and below it, the text "www.LG15.com".)

Notes

 • The character behind the narrating voice was, at the time of the video's release, unknown. It was theorized (correctly) that it could be Maggie herself.
 • Several lonelygirl15 and KateModern characters were seen during the monitor sequence of the video, including Bree, Kate, Gina, Emma, Nadia, Daniel, Charlie, Steve, Dr. Hart, and William Porter.
