Transcript

(Charlie is walking along Pinchin street, looking irritated with her hair disheveled and wet.)

Charlie: This is just great, isn't it? Things couldn't get much worse than this. Last week I found Dr. Griffin dead after he gave me the list of those girls who're all gonna die if I don't find them and help save them. And then I got bashed in the head. (Rubs her forehead.) And had the list stolen from me from Terrence-nutcase, the guy who Gavin owes money to. So much for Gavin being my knight in shining armour! Where was he during all this? He's done nothing to help me at all! Look at me, Cheerful Charlie, the crazy Aussie chick. More like a miserable drowned rat. (The camera pans to her feet.)

(Cut to another Charlie animation. Charlie flips out of a well. A kingdom is shown. A stick figure prince, presumably Gavin, is shown trying desperately to pull a sword from a stone. Charlie looks intrigued at his struggles. As he looks confusedly at the sword, she taps him on the shoulder. He smiles and kisses her hand. Gavin then notices a spider on the ground and is terrified. A rabbit and a squirrel appear from behind the stone to watch. Gavin is still terrified. A bird lands on the hilt of the sword. Gavin runs away in fear. A rabbit and a bird smile, then a mouse squeaks and points. Charlie smiles and waves back. The mouse squeaks faster, pointing behind her. Charlie waves back again, and the mouse continues to squeak and point. Three ninja throwing stars come at Charlie's head, which she dodges. A darkened stick figure, Terrence, appears with a sword. Charlie pulls the sword from the stone and draws a line in the ground. Terrence signals for her to come fight him. Charlie runs and slices at him. She misses as Terrence jumps over the sword, and knocks her into a wall..)

Charlie: You know, you come into this world on your own, and you leave it on your own, too. There's no Prince Charming, no fairy godmother, all you have is yourself. Get used to it. (The camera pans around and finds a pigeon on the street.) Isn't that right, Percy?

Notes

  • The video seems to suggest that Gavin's behavior is beginning to put his relationship with Charlie in jeopardy.
  • The title "Charlie and the Seven Snorks" is an obvious reference to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
    • "Snork" is defined by Cassell's Dictionary of Slang as Aussie slang for "a baby" or "a young man, a boy". This is likely referencing Gavin's recent behaviour.
