Transcript

Jonas: (coughs) Hey, uh, so, I got another tape yesterday. I just opened my door, and bam, there it was. You know what that means, another trip to the video store. Only, you know what, here's the thing, I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking for. So I sent-I sent it to Taylor because she's pretty good at finding these hidden things, and she obviously spends a lot more time in front of the computer than I do. I talked to her about Sarah, and she said that she hadn't heard from her, but that's not unusual for her; she wasn't worried. (sighs) I think, I think Taylor might be spending too much time on that whatweird site? Because uh, she said that she thinks that Sarah maybe teleported herself off that dirt road. (chuckles). Yeah, uh. Anyway...um...yeah.

(Video cuts off to title screen that reads "Patient #11 03/06/2001" and then shows a clip of Gina and Dr. Calvin Hart. Gina coughs and sighs. The doctor turns away from her with a needle in hand, presumably just having injected her with something or having drawn blood. He then turns back to Gina and places a cotton ball and a bandage on her arm. Gina continues coughing.)

Gina: It's not getting any better, is it? (coughs)

Dr. Calvin Hart: Not yet. But I'm on the job.

Gina: (sighs, coughs, and sighs again) I don't get what those people are complaining about. (coughs)

Dr. Hart: Me neither.

Gina: And that song? The piano one? What do they really have to complain about anyway? (coughs) Who cares if they're not actors or musicians or whatever (coughs) At least they get to go out, (coughs) meet new people, go to cool... (coughs) go to cool bars. Don't have to spend their whole life in a hosp...

(Gina coughs so heavily that she falls over in the hospital bed, apparently unable to breathe. The doctor comes and helps her.)

Dr. Hart: Better? (Gina nods.) Listen, if you can stick it out another month - until April 10th - I have a big suprise for you...okay?

(Gina nods and begins coughing again. Camera cuts back to Jonas.)

Jonas: (counting on fingers) Billy Joel, coughing fits. What the hell? I really hope you can find something, Taylor, and...if anybody knows who this girl is... let us know.

Notes

  • Gina seems to have similar coughing fits to the ones Emma experienced in Sick Dreams.
  • Dr. Hart asks Gina to "stick it out" until April 10th. In the Thelemic calender, this marks the final day of the Feast for Three Days (an event that celebrates the completion of The Book of the Law), providing more evidence of the Hymn of One having ties to Aleister Crowley and Thelema.
  • April 10th is the 100th day of the 365-day Gregorian calendar.
