Description I couldn't sleep, so I figured it was about time that I got started on this. Probably why I seem so out of it, I'm usually more perky I swear! I wish I had a thicker backbone. I guess I'll just have to get used to it, well as they say:

This is MY show now.

Hello. I am Rutka's first video diary. is the first video in the RutEarth29 video series. It is also the first video of the series.

Rutka: So I've been avoiding this for a while now. I don't even really remember why. Well, that's not entirely true. I have to admit that I haven't exactly been looking forward to this. Actually, I've been dreading it, ever since I was given orders to start putting together these video diaries. I don’t even like talking to my own family about my problems. So why would I want to subject the government to it? But I guess I'll have to get over a few intra-personality traits if I plan on getting through my new life here. And thankfully, I really do like watching a lot of people on here: Betz28, ApotheosisAZ, milowent, escapefromhere07. So, why am I doing this? Well, I just moved here, and this virtual album is part of the government’s “modernization program”. Apparently our technology here was lacking compared to America’s so the scientists here have been churning out these computers, and miniature cinemas, portable video cameras and want the people in the city to test them.. Which, is really a nice way of saying that I'm a guinea pig. I was kind of intimidated about it, but I figured what are the chances of the government or anyone I know or for that matter, anyone period actually watching what I post? It was also a great excuse to pour out the turmoil from my personal life. But alas, I will save the prepubescent annoyances of that drama for another day, as I do have to help momma in the morning. And besides, too much self-analysis is definitely unhealthy.
