Transcript

(The scene opens with a shot of a large wooden door closing. Outside, a tall sign that reads MUSEUM can be seen. Jennie turns the camera to herself.)

Jennie: So, that Lucy is one crazy bitch. Okay? She's gone. Just (makes a pop noise with her mouth). Disappeared into thin air. Jonas swears she was dead. He's pretty dumbfounded by the whole thing. I mean, you know, who wouldn't be? At least we got the microchip back. Oh, and speaking of which, Jonas and I decided to do a little exploring at the location that Taylor found on the microchip. This museum. You know, the blueprints she gave us lead to a small room buried at the back of the building so, we're just-

Jonas: (in the background) Jennie!

Jennie: Yeah. (Turns the camera to Jonas, who is in a dark doorway)

Jonas: Come on!

Jennie: Okay.

Jonas: Come on!

Jennie: Let's go.

(Jennie follows Jonas down a dimly lit hall with a objects encased in glass cases in the walls.)

Jennie: Creepy. (Pans camera to a strange object) Jonas, look at this!

Jonas: Come on, this way!

Jennie: What is that?

Jonas: I don't know. Let's go.

(Jennie and Jonas walk down a flight of stairs which leads to a dimly lit room with more objects in glass cases in the walls. They walk through the room to another which has documents framed all over the walls. Jonas takes a look at the documents and walks out. The camera pans to a strange metal contraption in a glass case and Jennie is seen making a face at it. Jennie walks down a few more hallways, passing various objects along the way, until she catches up with Jonas in a room full of various trinkets. She walks in and surveys some objects, namely a portrait of a young woman behind a harp. She gently strokes the harp and walks over to a bust of a man.)

Jennie: (to herself) Who is that?

Jonas: Jennie! (Pops out from another portion of the room)

Jennie: (frightened) What!? What? Jeez.

Jonas: Oh, sorry. Look what I found in the store room. (The camera pans to an old suitcase.) Check out the name. (Points to the name written on the suitcase)

Jennie: George Kiel?

Jonas: George Kiel, yeah. And I found dozens of others, all with the Resistance names on it. This thing is filled with journals and artifacts that all relate back to The Order. This must have been their life's work.

(Jonas opens the suitcase and Jennie surveys the contents, which includes photos, documents, and various items.)

Jonas: All right, so here's what we've learned. The papers we found pieced together the origins of The Order and it looks like everything dates back to the Order of Denderah.

Jennie: Now, Denderah was an ancient Egyptian city built on the site of, um, (struggles to pronounce the name) Ta-ynt-netert. (Jonas and Jennie laugh) I don't know how to say it but what it means is "She of the divine pillar." Resistance members discovered an ancient Egyptian lore, one that talked about a fountain of youth, one that could grant eternal life.

Jonas: That's right, but they weren't referencing a- a- a real fountain. They were referencing a woman (puts hat from suitcase on) who is-

Jennie: Cute.

Jonas: Thank you, it's George's hat. They were referencing, uh, this woman who was believed to have descended from the fertility goddess Hathor. (Looks at Jennie) Right?

Jennie: Yes. Hathor.

Jonas: Hathor.

Jennie: Um, now, Hathor's daughter gave birth to twenty girls and the bloodline was considered holy. Now get this: in the twentieth century, scientists discovered a living descendant. A woman who lived to be a hundred and fifteen years old. Her DNA carried a regenerative gene.

Jonas: Which means, and this is huge, (Jonas takes his hat off. Jennie giggles.) all the trait positive girls that The Order is looking for, they all have to be traced back to one of these twenty girls. Oh, and guess... guess what else had an interest in Egypt? (Points to a hieroglyph in George's suitcase)

Jennie: Yeah.

Jonas: Show it.

Jennie: (Pulls out a picture of a man) This guy!

Jonas: That's right. You guessed it. Aleister Crowley. In fact, he took an expedition to Egypt where he uncovered some hieroglyphics in the tomb of Hathor's, uh, descendant.

Jennie: Yeah. That's it.

Jonas: And those hieroglyphics, they taught him the secrets of the trait positive girls. (Pans camera to the hieroglyphics) And from there he tracked them down and he exploited them for his own purposes. (Pans camera over pictures of the girls)

Jennie: It's just really weird. Jonas and I are gonna keep digging through the past 'cause it might be the only way to save our future.

Notes

  • Jackson seems to have an accept slip when saying the word "fertility."
