Transcript

(Daniel and Bree are driving down the highway in Daniel's car. The camera turns to Bree.)

Bree: Just leave it here, Daniel.

Daniel: No.

Bree: Why not?

Daniel: Not yet. We can't leave it on the highway.

Bree: Well, who cares if they find it? We're not going to be inside of the car.

Daniel: Do you understand? We're going to be on foot. If we leave it on the highway, we're going to have to walk out on the highway. They would find us.

Bree: You don't need to talk to me like I'm a five-year-old. I'm listening to you.

Daniel: I'm not talking to you like you're a five-year-old--

Bree: Yeah, you are talking to me like I'm--

Daniel: No I'm not, I'm just--

Bree: You're acting like I'm stupid.

Daniel: I'm--You're not stupid.

Bree: I know that I'm not stupid.

Daniel: I'm just saying that we--we can't be so reckless. It just--it just...

(The camera is pointed at Bree, from behind the car.)

Bree: Maybe we should have one last look.

Daniel: No, we have to go.

Bree: But if we can find the device, then we can use the car. We really need the car! How are we gonna get out of here?

Daniel: We're gonna walk. Come on. (Daniel takes Bree's bag off her shoulder.) Are you ready? Do you have everything?

Bree: Yeah.

Daniel: Okay, let's go. (The camera spins around forwards as Daniel walks. It cuts back to Bree, who's wearing her safari hat.) Hurry up! (Daniel passes the camera to Bree.) I'm carrying both bags. (Believe Me by Golden Shoulders plays as we see Daniel walking ahead with both bags.) So I got a bunch of messages from some people and... someone named Tachyon. She said that there was some sort of tracking device on my car. I mean, how could they keep finding us? There had to be something on my car. (Footage of Bree walking is seen.) Anyway, we don't have a car now, so we're walking. (The screen goes black.) No, really, tell me!

(Bree is leaning against a tree, her hands covering her face.)

Bree: Daniel, stop!

(Bree takes her hands off her face.)

Daniel: No, I wanna know! What is there out here that makes you want to stay?

(Bree tries to push the camera away, but fails.)

Bree: Daniel.

Daniel: No, seriously! In case you haven't noticed, we're homeless!

Bree: What do you want me to do? If we go home--

Daniel: Why can't we go home?

(The camera moves closer to Bree.)

Bree: Why don't we just--Stop it! (The camera pulls back.) Why don't we just stay with Jonas?

Daniel: What?

Bree: Well, he has money, said we could stay there--

Daniel: You don't even know Jonas!

Bree: He has a house--

(Believe Me plays louder as Bree becomes quieter. It then cuts to where Bree is seen walking in a park.)

Daniel: We're definetly going home. I don't care what Bree wants anymore. It's the right decision. We're gonna go to the police and take our chances.

Notes

• This is the first video in which one of the characters mentions interacting with Tachyon. Previously, on Survival Skills, Bree mentioned OpAphid in passing. Gemma also mentioned OpAphid in a An Awkward Silence, but none of the characters seemed to mention or interact with ex-agent Tachyon until this video.
