Jackie is a friend of Jessica Rose and plays Gemma in the lonelygirl15 series.
This was confirmed via a message from the creators on the Yousef Abu-Taleb talk page signed with all the actors including Jackie. It is also apparent from her MySpace page that she's definitely Gemma.
Her MySpace profile lists her location as the United Kingdom as this is presumably where she's from. Her accent in the Gemma videos has fueled much speculation on whether or not she is actually British. It would seem logical that she is living in Los Angeles considering that all of the actors, creators, and production staff are based in Southern California. Some fans have hypothesized that Jackie is from South Africa, Australia, or New Zealand and is simply faking a British accent.
