LG15: Final Request - Trailer is the sixteenth pilot submission for EQAL's first LG15: The Show Is Yours contest. The title of the proposed series is LG15: Final Request.

Transcript

(Clips of suburban streets are shown. Mitchell narrates.)

Mitchell: It's the typical story. Boy meets girl, they fall and love, and live happily ever after, right? Well I guess this isn't your typical story.

(Multiple shots of Kayla spending time outdoors appear on the screen.)

Mitchell: We begin with an ordinary life. An ordinary life of an ordinary girl. Her name is Kayla, and she is just in the prime of her life – her ordinary life with her ordinary routine and her ordinary friends.

(Mitchell appears on screen running towards Kayla. A sped up clip of Kayla and Mitchell on a tire swing is shown)

Mitchell: That's me, Mitchell. I've been with her from the start and we've been through everything together. Our ordinary journey was going... well, ordinary. But we can't all stay the same forever.

(Cuts to a clip of Kayla and Mitchell sitting in a car. They are wearing all black clothes. Mitchell removes the keys from the ignition.)

Mitchell: Ready?

Kayla: Yeah.

(Shot cuts to Kayla standing in front of a gravestone in a cemetery.)

Mitchell: (Narrating) The day Kayla's aunt Faye died was a tough one for everyone. She was like a mom to Kayla, and even to me she was family. She's helped us through so much in our lives and selflessly took Kayla in after her mother's death. But there was a lot to Aunt Faye we never knew about.

(Cuts to time laps clips of Kayla and Mitchell digging through various papers Kayla shows some on camera.)

Kayla: There are papers and articles in here about something called... the Order?

Mitchell: And they have something to do with the disappearance of these girls?

Kayla: Yeah... and the Resistance.

Mitchell: Who are they?

Kayla: I think they're the people who can stop all of this.

Mitchell: (Narrating) And that's when we found... her.

(Cuts to a shot of Ethan and Bailey video blogging.)

Bailey: (Laughs) Ethan!

Ethan: What?

Bailey: What am I supposed to do?

Ethan: Just... talk.

(Cuts to clips of Bailey and Ethan spending time together, holding hands, and acting like an ordinary couple. Mitchell narrates again.)

Mitchell: Her name is Bailey. And what she thought was her ordinary life, she was really living at the whim of another. And Aunt Faye's dying wish – her final request – is that we save her only daughter who was abducted by the Order, a foul organization heinously murdering girls like Bailey for a special trait in her blood that, in a way, generates... life.

(Cuts to Kayla and Mitchell driving.)

Kayla: Why are you even unsure about this?

Mitchell: What do you expect me to do?

(Cuts to a clip of Kayla video blogging.)

Kayla: I don't care what anyone says. I have to do this.

(Cuts to Kayla and Mitchell running down an empty street. Than cuts back to Kayla's video blog.)

Kayla: I can't let her down.

(Cuts to a clip of Mitchell and Kayla sneaking past a fence. Then to a clip of the duo playing a game of tic-tac-toe, and then to a clip of them arguing. Then cuts to a clip of Kayla holding up a paper, and finally cutting to the previous clip showing Mitchell storming out of the room leaving Kayla looking distressed. Mitchell, again, narrates throughout the scenes.)

Mitchell: This is the story of Kayla and how her ordinary life got turned upside down. How her ordinary life got buried in secrets and lies. How her ordinary life ended before it even started. And how none of this was up to her. All so that she could fulfill a final request.

(The LG15: Final Request logo slowly appears. Text then fades in reading "february 2009.")
