This is a place to list tasks that need to be done on the LGPedia. If you notice anything that needs to be done, just add it to the list. If you have a general question about the wiki or a suggestion on how to do something, please visit Lucy's Balcony. If you're looking for some general ideas for things that need to be done, try visiting the Community Portal. This page is mainly for work that is relatively simple but takes time and effort to do. Examples of these types of tasks are categorizing pages, transcribing videos, and fixing inconsistencies over a variety of pages. If you have a question or clarification about a certain task, or if you complete one of them, just post a comment in the appropriate section. Completed tasks will eventually be removed from the page.

LordGreystoke422's videos

LordGreystoke422 has a lot of videos, most of which don't have pages and some which do but don't have transcripts. Transcribing all of them will be a big task, but if anyone's up to it, then more power to them.--Jonpro 01:33, 13 April 2007 (CDT)

Okay, maybe it's just me, but I personally don't really think LG422 even needs video pages. A lot of the fan video series don't have individual video pages, but just have a basic summary of their plotlines on a page for them. Especially since LG422 doesn't really claim to be a character.. and posts on the site and has his own userpage and everything. Personally, I think the page that exsists already would probably suffice. I would love to hear people's thoughts on this though... --Zoey 21:06, 13 April 2007 (CDT)

Hmmm, good point. I just noticed that the first few videos had video pages but the rest didn't, so I figured they all should. Now I'm thinking it may not really be necessary. Other thoughts?--Jonpro 18:55, 14 April 2007 (CDT)

Maddison Atkins videos

Timeline

The Breeniverse Timeline page is only updated through February 13th, 2007. If the page is worth saving, it should probably be updated.--Jonpro 14:56, 17 April 2007 (CDT)

Yes, I was noticing that too. I think a few of the pages are a bit redundant... and as they are all summarizations of the plot, it doesn't really seem reasonable to expect that they will be constantly updated. I feel like the lonelygirl15 page and the Breeniverse Timeline don't really need plot info, as The Story So Far... is kept much more up to date and has the most accurate info? I'm also wondering what the heck is up with the Newcomer Guide, but I guess that's another story? Anyway, perhaps we should just get rid of the timeline page.. and remove plot info from the LG15 page... and really that would pretty effectively "clean it up". I just think it will be easier to keep things up to date and pretty-ful that way. Thoughts? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Zoey (talk • contribs) .

I agree that Lonelygirl15 and Breeniverse Timeline shouldn't really have plot information. From scanning the section titles, it seems like Lonelygirl15 is on the right track: "Revelations of fictionality" (is "fictionality" a word?), "Production Techniques", etc. are the things we need in that article. There is some plot on that page, though, and it probably should be removed. For the Breeniverse Timeline page, I'm not sure we even need as much information as what's there right now. Most of it is simply "____ posts the video _____". We can just look at the video page to find that information. I think the kinds of things that should be on that page are major plot moves like when Bree and Daniel go on the run and other related information like when Bree was born and so on. For The Story So Far..., I like how that looks--very short summaries of the videos that give a nice overview of the plot. And that page is being updated fairly regularly. And I don't have a clue about the Newcomer Guide page, but the all-caps hurts my eyes. Other pages to consider looking at are Catch Up and LGPedia:Welcome. We really need to condense all of this stuff so that it actually makes sense.--Jonpro 21:12, 17 April 2007 (CDT)
