Epic Movie is a parody film, similar to Scary Movie or Not Another Teen Movie, that spoofs a number of recent big-budget films. In addition to films like Lord of the Rings, Superman Returns or Snakes on a Plane, Epic Movie will also spoof several pop-culture phenomena, like MTV Cribs, the SNL skit Lazy Sunday, and lonelygirl15.
A series of promotional teasers starring Carmen Electra have been released under the YouTube account lonelygirl362436, a reference to the 36-inch bust, 24-inch waste and 36-inch hips, that are considered the ideal dimensions for a porn star. The promotional teasers recreate Bree's famous bedroom, but with dozens of stuffed animals on the bed.
Yousef Abu-Taleb revealed on his MySpace that he has done some work for the project.
Although these are promotional teasers, the Creators have not yet stated whether or not Lonelygirl362436 should be considered a canon character or not.
Thus far, two videos have been released:
- Daniel Dumped Me — lonelygirl362436 says she caught Daniel with another girl at a party.
- Winning Daniel Back — lonelygirl362436 practices ways to help win Daniel back.
