Transcript

Jules: This blog is about mi escuela. No tengo gusto. As you can tell, my parents make me study a lot. I do enjoy it, but sometimes I wish I was doing something else. Like this! Making videos is so fun. Like the one with my cat. It was so silly. But it kept my mind off my studying. But my parents have been seeing me play with the video camera a lot... and they're getting sort of... mad at me. They have really strict beliefs, which doesn't include broadcasting your feelings or anything else on the internet. But I enjoy it, and talking to you guys is so much fun. Since my parents are getting upset at me for using the camera so much, I may have to stop making the videos. And it's not like something I do behind their backs. They're always around. You see, I'm homeschooled. Lame, I know. So, I've been homeschooled for several years. Which means I don't get to interact with friends or other people like public schools do. So, I guess that's why I enjoy making videos. So, I'm gonna try to make more videos and stay in touch with everyone. But, I guess that's all for now. So adios, and good bye.

Notes

  • "Mi escuela" means "my school" in Spanish.
  • Jules used the phrase "no tengo gusto" incorrectly. In Spanish, "no tengo gusto" means "I have no taste", as in "I have no taste in clothes". If Jules meant to say "I don't like it", referring to being homeschooled, she should have said "No me gusta".
  • She is starting to show more similarities with Bree's early videos. For instance, she is homeschooled, and has very strict parents. Bree also didn't tell her parents about the videos.
  • Fans were so shocked by what they regarded as extremely terrible acting from what is believed to be a canon character in this episode that they formulated the hypothesis that Jules might just be an intentionally bad characature of Bree produced by the Creators to use as a red herring before the actual "new girl" is introduced.
