(Lee films the statue in the plaza in front of the apartment complex. He zooms out and pans to himself as he stands on the balcony overlooking it.)
Lee: Still no news on Lauren today. We're even more worried now, after that video that Terrence posted yesterday. I understand now why she didn't come home... but just get in touch, love. Oh, and I think that Toe might have made a bit of a bad impression yesterday. And he's really, really not as bad as you think. So, with that in mind, I thought I'd give you a glimpse at the, uh, the real Toe.
(Cut to Anthony sitting on the sofa in the living room.)
Lee: Um, Toe, could you just-just move a little bit that way? (Motions for Anthony to move over. Anthony moves slightly.) That's it.
(Lee sits in the chair next to the sofa and crosses his legs, grinning at the camera.)
Lee: Alright. So, Toe, why don't you tell everyone a little bit about yourself? (Lee smiles at Anthony, who sighs and looks annoyed.) Okay... Um... Right, well, why don't you tell everyone where you're from?
Anthony: Newcastle. Where do you think I'm from, you prick?
Lee: Alright, well, there's no need for that. Okay, so, why-why don't you tell everyone what you do for a living?
Anthony: I work for Wozzer, ninny.
Lee: Oh, that's nice! Yeah? So, um, what-what kind of work is Wozzer in, then?
Anthony: Yeah, a little bit of this and a little bit of that, if you know what I mean.
Lee: Oh, I-- Wow! Yeah, so-so he's, um, a...
Anthony: Sort of an... he's like a wholesaler.
(Charlie enters the room and heads for the camera.)
Lee: Ch- No, Charlie! Charlie, we're- we're in the middle of an interview.
(Charlie takes the camera. Cut to Charlie carrying through the hall of the building.)
Lee: Charlie! (Charlie turns to see Lee peeping out of the flat's front door.) What's going on?
Charlie: Lauren just called.
Lee: Toe! Toe, quick! Toe, come on! Quick!
(Charlie turns back to the exit and continues walking. Cut to Charlie standing in front of the lift. Lee is standing at the exit to the stairwell.)
Lee: Come on, Toe! Come on!
(Charlie steps into the lift.)
Anthony: I'm coming, I'm coming.
(Charlie turns to find Lee entering the lift. Anthony follows. Cut to inside Charlie's car.)
Lee: What did she say?
Charlie: Nothing. Just that she wanted us to come and meet her.
Lee: (Turns to the camera.) What if it's a set-up?
Anthony: Don't worry, love. Nothing's gonna happen with me around.
(Charlie and Lee look nervously at Anthony. Cut to Charlie arriving at an underground car park.)
Lee: Right, it's there, there.
Charlie: Yeah.
(Cut to everyone getting out of the car.)
Charlie: Right. Come on, Toe, you can film.
(Cut to Charlie and Lee running outside.)
Charlie: Come on, Toe, hurry up!
Lee: Toe, come on!
(Cut to Charlie and Lee running to a small building.)
Charlie: This is it. (Enters with Lee.) Sorry. Come on.
(Cut to Charlie and Lee running down a circular flight of stairs. Anthony films the inner part of the stair well. They reach the bottom, where there is a long tunnel. Charlie and Lee run ahead.)
Charlie: Lauren!
Lee: Lauren?
Charlie: Lauren!
(Lauren runs toward Charlie and hugs her.)
Charlie: Lauren. Oh, thank god. Thank god you're okay. Are you all right?
Lauren: Yeah, just a bit cold.
Lee: Hey.
Lauren: Hey, Lee. (Hugs Lee and looks confusedly at the camera.)
Lee: Oh, this is me brother Anthony.
Lauren: Hey.
Charlie: Where've you been?
Lauren: All over. I'm sorry for lying to you. I know I should have got through to you earlier, but... I thought if I could get rid of Michelle Clore and Terrence, then maybe our lives could be okay again, but it just made everything so much worse.
(Anthony zooms in on Lauren's breasts and Lee raises the camera, glaring at him.)
Charlie: What happened?
Lauren: (Sighs.) That guy, Jeffrey Griffin... He got it contact with me. Apparently, the Order killed his uncle, but his uncle was that weirdo who made me trait positive. You know...the specialist doctor? The one with that silly voice? Anyway, he's part of this thing called the FTO - "Fight the Order" or something - and he said that he wanted revenge, and- and that he was gonna help me 'cause he felt that his family owed me.
So we came up with this plan to try and get rid of Michelle Clore and Terrence at the same time. I got him to film me from outside the house and stuff so it looked like he was watching me. And then we put that footage with some other stuff from me being tied up on the Bebo page.
Charlie: So that was all a fake?
Lauren: I know. I'm sorry.
Charlie: Go on.
Lauren: So when it was on the site, we emailed Michelle Clore pretending to be Terrence and said that he was the one that kidnapped me and that- and that he wanted to swap me for some of them Shadow drugs that he was hooked on.
Charlie: My god!
Lauren: And then the FTO managed to get hold of Terrence pretending to be working for Michelle Clore and they said that they'd seen him kidnap me and wondered if he'd be interested in a swap. (Sighs.) I guess he was gonna try and come anyway and get the drugs, even though he didn't have me at all.
Charlie: Jesus, Lauren!
Lauren: He was so hungry for them Shadow drugs... I guess you've seen what happened next. I'm sorry. I know; I fucked everything up. I've ruined everything.
Charlie: (Hugs Lauren.) It's okay.
Lauren: What am I gonna do?
Charlie: It's gonna be okay. I promise I'm not gonna let anything happen to you again.
Lee: How can you say that, after everything that's happened?
Charlie: I just can. (Puts her arm around Lauren.)
Lee: You gonna be at work later?
Charlie: Just tell them I'll be home.
Lee: You're gonna get fired.
Charlie: I'm not sure I care any more.
(Charlie walks away with Lauren. Anthony films Lauren's butt as they walk away and Lee pulls the camera up.)
Lee: Toe, stop that!
