(Gavin and Charlie are rushing down a street, Gavin is obviously in a hurry)
Charlie: Babe, where are you going?
Charlie: Can you slow down?
Gavin: This is supposed to be the place. This is where Lee put the pin in the map!
Charlie: We don't even know what we're looking for!
Gavin: Well, hello? That! (Points to Big Ben)
Charlie: There's no sign of Lee anywhere, though.
Gavin: Yeah, what's he playing at? Idiot.
(The two come upon a crowd in the middle of the street)
Gavin: Hey guys, you all right?
Crowd: Hi.
Gavin: Hi, um, listen. You know what _______ is, yeah?
Crowd: Yeah.
Gavin: Have you seen Lee? Anywhere? Recently?
Crowd: Yeah.
Gavin: Really? Did he do anything?
Crowd: Yes.
Charlie: What did he leave?
Man: Left a gnome.
Charlie: What?
Gavin: You're joking.
Charlie: (Charlie points the camera to the ground where a garden gnome is placed) What's that?
Gavin: How long ago did he leave this? Did you see?
Man: About five minutes ago.
Gavin: Five minutes ago? What? He's sending us on a wild goose chase. And we've got to follow - oh, hello. _____ alert. (Tariq and Julia appear) Holmes and Watson. Hello.
Julia: What's it say?
Charlie: Hey guys.
Tariq: What'd you bring the gnome for, Gavin?
Gavin: Yeah, great deduction, Sherlock. I didn't bring it, did I? Lee's left it for us. It's got a clue on it, or something.
Julia: Another clue?
Gavin: Yes.
Tariq: Yeah, let's have a look. (Tariq grabs for the gnome and a scramble ensues)
Gavin: No! Get off! I found it!
Julia and Charlie: Guys!
Julia: (Julia intervenes) We're all working together!
Gavin: I'm not working with you ever again.
Tariq: Yeah well I'm not working with him either. No way!
Julia: Gav, let me read the clue. We're all working to get your software back, okay?
Charlie: Babe, please just read the clue then we can solve the riddle.
Gavin: All right. Get the camera on this then. "You'll need your platforms tomorrow. When I hear Abba it makes me want to go. Hands that don't wave, a face that won't laugh. The time and the place is thirteen and a half."
Charlie: Well, we have to go somewhere else tomorrow.
Gavin: Yeah, well, we'll work it out first.
Tariq: No, not a bit. We'll work it out first.
Gavin: Yeah, whatever. All the best.
Tariq: Good luck. (Tariq is dragged away by Julia)
Gavin: "You'll need you platforms to-" (To the crowd)Did anybody get that?
Charlie: Good one, Gav, now they're gone.
Gavin: Yeah, well I won!
Charlie: Gav...
Gavin: Come on, we need to sort this out. We need to work it out and get going as quickly as possible, come on. (To the crowd) Hey guys, thanks a lot, yeah? Thank you very much.
Charlie: For God's sake Gav...
Gavin: Come on, Charlie!
Charlie: Can you slow down?
Gavin: Come on!
Gavin: (Charlie and Gavin have slowed down, Gavin is puzzling over the riddle) "Hands that don't wave, a face that won't laugh. The time and the place is thirteen and a half." What...what does that mean? What does that mean?
Charlie: I have no idea, Gav.
Gavin: Come on.
Charlie: You've been so hot-headed, I don't know what your problem is.
Gavin: (Gavin starts to run across the street) Come on! Quick! Quick!
Notes
- The clue on the bottom of the gnome:
You’ll need your platforms tomorrow,
When I hear Abba it makes me want to go.
Hands that don’t wave, a face that won’t laugh,
the time and the place is thirteen and a half.
- The solution of this clue is:
Location: Waterloo Station (Waterloo is a song from ABBA and the platforms in the clue are referring to a train station)
Time: 1.30pm (the time is thirteen and a half, what means 13.30 or 1.30pm)
Where exactly: Under the four-faced clock (the line: Hands that don't wave, a face that won't laugh refers to the hands and face of a clock. There hangs a large and famous four-faced clock in the middle of the main concourse. Meeting "under the clock at Waterloo" is a traditional rendezvous.)
