Pigeons are referenced multiple times in the KateModern series. They seem to be a theme of the series.
- Pigeons in the Kate Modern series could be a reference to the variety of them. Pigeons come in all types of different colors and shapes.
- Kate probably likes pigeons because there are so many different ones yet they're all called pigeons, just like her life. She goes by a different name, yet she is still a human being just like everyone else.
