Raymond is a friend of Jeffrey's and the co-founder of the FTO. While at Jeffrey's house, the two are visited by Rupert Van Helden, who threatens to sue the duo if they do not admit that they made up any proof of his connection to Kate's murder. Under this threat, and fear of his mother's reaction to a lawsuit, Raymond unconvincingly states that the FTO's claims are false.
