'''Bree:''' Okay, so...I'm a little annoyed and for once it's not at Daniel! Daniel invited me to this party on Saturday and I want to go. I've never been to a party before, and I think that Daniel's right. Sometimes I take things too seriously. I asked my Dad if I could go, and I said that Daniel would take me and that we'd be home really early and he said no. The reason he said I couldn't go was because I still had too much ''(Bree makes air quotes)'' "preparing" to do. I prepare all day. ''(cut to Bree pacing)'' I do exercises, I memorize passages, I'm learning a language that no one has spoken in like-- ''(cut to Bree back in her chair)'' --and when I brought that up my Dad said that this was a huge honor and that if I didn't want to do it then-- ''(Bree jumps and glances quickly at the door) (whispers)'' My mom's here! ''(Bree makes air quotes)'' "They're talking." My mom usually takes my side. I'm gonna go try again. ''(Bree gets up and leaves the room) (cut to Bree sitting back down in her chair, she now talks in a normal voice)'' Okay. So that was an exercise in futility. For once, my mom sided with my dad. ''(cut to Bree sitting on her bed)'' I have to admit that I'm kinda thinking about going to that party anyway. ''(Bree rolls her eyes and falls over backwards) (cut to Bree hanging over the back of her chair)'' I just feel like Daniel kind of went out of his way to come to my play after all that stuff that my dad said. I feel like it's the least I could do. ''(cut to Bree in background, kicking her bed once, and then walking back to the chair)'' Ok, I gotta to go to bed now. Goodnight. ''(Bree smiles, but doesn't look happy)''

Bree: Okay, so...I'm a little annoyed and for once it's not at Daniel! Daniel invited me to this party on Saturday and I want to go. I've never been to a party before, and I think that Daniel's right. Sometimes I take things too seriously. I asked my Dad if I could go, and I said that Daniel would take me and that we'd be home really early and he said no. The reason he said I couldn't go was because I still had too much (Bree makes air quotes) "preparing" to do. I prepare all day. (cut to Bree pacing) I do exercises, I memorize passages, I'm learning a language that no one has spoken in like-- (cut to Bree back in her chair) --and when I brought that up my Dad said that this was a huge honor and that if I didn't want to do it then-- (Bree jumps and glances quickly at the door) (whispers) My mom's here! (Bree makes air quotes) "They're talking." My mom usually takes my side. I'm gonna go try again. (Bree gets up and leaves the room) (cut to Bree sitting back down in her chair, she now talks in a normal voice) Okay. So that was an exercise in futility. For once, my mom sided with my dad. (cut to Bree sitting on her bed) I have to admit that I'm kinda thinking about going to that party anyway. (Bree rolls her eyes and falls over backwards) (cut to Bree hanging over the back of her chair) I just feel like Daniel kind of went out of his way to come to my play after all that stuff that my dad said. I feel like it's the least I could do. (cut to Bree in background, kicking her bed once, and then walking back to the chair) Ok, I gotta to go to bed now. Goodnight. (Bree smiles, but doesn't look happy)
