(Phone showing a text message from "Spencer G-man")

Taylor: You see that? "N46 Degrees 12 hours and 5 minutes. E6 degrees 8 hours 5 minutes away. Stop. Chocolates. Stop. Yum." He's such a dork. Spencer's been texting me from Switzerland. (looks up at Sarah) Hey.

Sarah: Spencer?

Taylor: Yeah, um, he can't meet up with Jonas or Daniel because he's at the conference thing still.

Sarah: (takes the phone off Taylor) Why does he keep saying "stop"? (gives the phone back)

Taylor: 'Cause it's Spencer, he's using telegram speak, to be funny.

Sarah: Oh. Um, so uh...um...I wanted to apologize for that guy the other night. I don't even--

Taylor: Don't-- don't worry about it, it's fine.

Sarah: It's not fine. I don't know what I was thinking, you know? I mean, obviously, I wasn't thinking. It's just, um... I'm sorry.

Taylor: It's okay...

Sarah: I promise that, um, nothing like that will ever happen again.

Taylor: Okay. It's-- it's really, it's okay, Sarah. I mean, he just said something creepy, nothing happened.

Sarah: Yeah, nothing happened. (she brushes back her hair to reveal a bruise)

Taylor: Sarah? Wait, he did that to you? Sarah...

Sarah: It's alright. I know, it's not that big a deal. Um... You know, I don't remember meeting him, and I don't know why he came back to the house. I mean, when I just think about it, like, he could've murdered us, or... worse.

Taylor: Okay, Sarah you need to call the police, that's-- (reaches up to touch the bruise)

Sarah: (reacting slightly to the pain) Ah... Look, it looks a lot worse than it is, okay? It does. And plus, it's not just this one gross guy you know? It's everything. Look at my stupid life. I wasn't supposed to turn out like this. You know? This isn't who I am, this isn't who I'm supposed to be.

Taylor: Who're you supposed to be?

Sarah: I don't know, not this. I'm like some weird alternate reality of myself and, you know, it's like, I'm just running in circles, I'm just chasing my tail like a fucking dog.

Taylor: Well, maybe you just need to change things up.

Sarah: It's not that easy, it's not... I mean, uh... what if this is who I am? You know, what if, um... what if mom is right, what if, um... if I'm just a whore?

Taylor: Hey, no, Sarah, you're not. You're... don't ever listen to what mom says, okay? You're insanely smart.

Sarah: Maybe I'm just insane.

Taylor: Okay, stop.

Sarah: Yeah, I know. I'm sorry.

Taylor: Sarah you just... you just need to figure out what you want, I mean, what you really want, and go for it. No matter how hard it is, go after it and get it. I know you can.

Sarah: Yeah, I just, um... I don't know what I want. And um, between you and me... I did something really awful. I don't wanna talk about it right now, but um... it's pretty bad.

Taylor: Well, Sarah, no matter how awful anything that you do is, you're my sister; you always have been and you always will be, and I'll be there for you no matter what, okay? No matter what.

Sarah: Thanks, that's good to know. (starting to tear up) I make pretty good eggs.

Taylor: (smiling) Yeah, I'm a little hungry.

(Sarah nods, then bursts into tears)

Taylor: Oh Sarah, come here. (Taylor hugs Sarah. Cuts to Taylor sitting later, without Sarah) Sarah, please don't get mad at me for posting this. I just... I just thought that everyone should see it. A lot of people out there think that you're really selfish but, you're not. You have a good heart, you just... don't always show it. I thought it's about time you did. Jonas, Spencer is definitely not gonna make it, but Sarah is going to try and find the serum. She locked herself in her room, she's writing down an entire list of all the names of the guys that she's slept with in the last couple of weeks, so, I'll let you know as soon as I know something, okay?

Notes

• Some fans speculate that the 'really bad thing' Sarah refers to may have to do with saving Bree and intentionally getting in the way of that in return for Daniel's love.
• In the episode Revealing My Secret, Sarah confesses that she still has the serum, although many fans believe that there is more to her secret than this.
