Jonas: After... after what happened... we just wanted to get Sarah out of here, you know, away from these people. And she's um... she's definitely not over it, by a longshot, but you know what, it was really good to see that at least she wasn't really brainwashed. You know, underneath the "Eternal Song" crap, she's definitely still Sarah. You know, someone like Sarah, someone who I consider to be somewhat of a strong person, you know? If nothing else, she's super jaded. You know if she can fall for this thing, and I mean without any brainwashing, I mean just really, really fall for it, the Hymn of One... it's a more powerful weapon than I thought. A lot more powerful. Anyway, uh, Emma, Jennie and I, we're gonna stay here. We're gonna see what we can find on Carl and company... we're... also, we're camping out. It should be fun. There's only one motel nearby, and it would just be too obvious if we checked into it. I hope I'm doing the right thing. You know, I hope I'm doing the right thing splitting us up. (Jonas takes off his cap.) Believe me, I've wrestled with the idea whether to send Emma home, but you know, I just... I feel better if I can keep an eye on her. I feel like she's safer. So, I'm just gonna try to keep her out of Carl's sight, and uh... hope for the best. You know, what else can I do? You gotta hope for the best.
