green screen
- I'm pretty sure there was no green screen used in this video. Looks a lot like the new video features from Leopard, the new Mac operating system. - Synthetikcykik
- it's not about the effects. the outline around her figure is very unnatural. instead of the edge of herself kinda being soft because it's simply IN FRONT OF the wall, it's like it clashes with the colors of the behind wall, as if she was IN it or something. i'm not sure how else to describe it; when someone is in front of a green screen (and apparrently doesn't have enough budgeting money or anything), the edges of the figures (people and objects) in the shot never look quite right. which makes me wonder; are they (I.G.) afraid of letting us see what blank wall she's in front of or something? --Nieriel.Manwathiel
- I have the new operating system, majority of those were default backgrounds. The shadowing and outline look the same as they did in iChat video. I think they were using the editing effects to get more interactive with us, since Emma said post your own videos. - Synthetikcykik
- Something else I forgot to add; the color (saturation? vitality of colors) for the person and things in the foreground are always different than the projected location. --Nieriel.Manwathiel

- Granted, there might not be an actual green screen. the correct term would be chroma key. green screen is industry slang. but the final effect is the same. i don't know about the video effect but it is most likely... chroma key. - platy oct 30
- if you look at the edges of Emma, she has this jagged edge around her and no shadow, its clear that Emma isn't really in front of that white wall
