I think it is pretty clear that the pictures are of Yousef. First, the styling is more in line with someone of Yousef's age then of Daniel's (short shorts were big for kids in the 80s, not so much in the 90s). Second, it looks exactly like him! Third, it is normal for one's hair to be lighter as a child. There is actually evidence from the field of anthropology that this is why men are disproportionately attracted to blonde females and not vice versa. If anything, I think it is worthwhile to point out that it looks like those pictures were taken before Daniel's time (except in a more eloquent way).
