The plot thickens

Okay, now that one of the main characters has appeared in an OpAphid (Tachyon) video, do people think it's time to more fully incorporate these two series into the rest of the info? For instance, should the posting of this video (and others) be included in the timeline? --Brucker 15:35, 12 December 2006 (CST)

It is not necessary to follow OpAphid or play the game in order to enjoy or follow LG15. However, whatever plot points that OpAphid contributes to LG15, especially in regards to the lives of the main characters ARE relevant, and certainly warrant their place on any LG15 timeline. -- Twjaniak 15:40, 12 December 2006 (CST)
This looks a lot to me like we do need to follow OpAphid in order to enjoy and understand LG15. I saw this Jonas video and I was super confused. I had absolutely no idea what that video clip was or why Jonas had it. I had to spend about half an hour at the phorum to understand what was going on -- and frankly, I still have no clue. I've been following LG15 forever, and if I'm not understanding the twists anymore, I don't know who is.--JayHenry 15:53, 12 December 2006 (CST)
And I don't mean this to complain. My point is, merely, that we really need a couple more hardcore OpAphid players who can both 1) contribute to the LGPedia and 2) translate sometimes complicated ARG thigns into language that somebody who is really only interested in the LG storyline can understand. Do we need to do a recruitment drive from OpAphid players in the phorum?--JayHenry 16:02, 12 December 2006 (CST)

I think that this does call for inclusion of the OpAphid and Tachyon videos in the timeline, and while the fine points of the ARG are beyond the scope of a general plot discussion, as Twjaniak said, videos like those Gemma ones need to be mentioned. --Brucker 16:05, 12 December 2006 (CST)

Brucker, do you know enough about OpAphid to know when something is relevant enough to be included? I guess I'm having trouble understanding how OpAphid is both 1) optional material and 2) essential to the storyline. It seems to me that the one precludes the other.--JayHenry 16:10, 12 December 2006 (CST)
I don't, but I think it would be easy to include the pertinent details, such as the Adventures in Babysitting video. I don't think the timeline should include attempts at decyphering the content, only mentioning that the videos were posted and a short description if it seems overtly plot-relevant. --Brucker 16:55, 12 December 2006 (CST)
