triangulate their location

  • i realize that fans are thinking this. it's probably going to happen but i just want to make note about it before it happens, that it is absolutely absurd. - platy nov 13
  • that's correct, but it may be possible to track them using their ip address as these usually pick up the rough location from where one is posting.--129.64.99.48 09:52, 14 November 2007 (CST)

international countries

  • From the notes: "It is assumed that Jonas and Sarah are in either Canada or Mexico, as they are the only possible international countries that can be reached by truck from California."

I'm gonna edit it, but i saved it here for a good-natured chuckle. all "countries" are international, i suppose. also, technically, one can drive from the United States into South America, all the way down to Argentina and Chile. Though it would take quite some time. See: http://www.well.com/user/dreyer/ ("My brother and I drove a Toyota 4Runner from San Francisco, California to Tierra del Fuego and back, between March 9 and July 15, 1996.") --Milowent 13:13, 14 November 2007 (CST)

  • I think for sure someone could drive all the way through Mexico in four days; especially from Southern California. -murdock_cb
    • i think you are right murdock. once you got thru the border, it wouldn't be that difficult to make it to Central America. I hold out hope that they took a secret Chunnel from Boston to England. --Milowent 13:50, 14 November 2007 (CST)
      • At least then, we could maybe find out about this ambiguous future KM/LG overlap thingie... Greenie 22:09, 14 November 2007 (CST)
  • You can't drive through the last 100 miles of Panama, a.k.a. the Darien Gap. The PanAm Highway hasn't been finished through that part. You have to find a boat or something to carry your vehicle, the guys in the article Milo mentioned did that. Also, the Darien is a very dangerous place right now due to the presence of a number of Colombian rebel groups. Suze900 12:48, 18 November 2007 (CST)
