and this has to do with lg15 how?

The Illuminati are supposed to be derives from very old secret societies. Both Gemma and the Creators themselves have talked about secret societies and how they relate to Bree's religion.--modelmotion 23:48, 29 November 2006 (CST)

Deletion

The Illuminati may very well be an interesting subject, but there has been no reference to it in the series, so I don't think it merits it's own article. The article tries to justify its inclusion by saying that LG15 is about secret societies, but I don't think that's enough. If no one objects in a week or so, I'll delete it. NOTE: This page should be renamed "Illuminati Influences". If need be, I can keep it up to date with the Illuminati pop-culture influences on the LG15 storyline since the current information has no relevence to the story but the Illuminati definitely does. Trainer101

I agree with Deletion after carefully looking at the page. --Iris2009 19:17, 24 January 2007 (CST)

I disagree with deletion. I think that the Illuminati have been a large part of the speculation in the LG15 saga. There are other references in here, (ie Lovecraft) that have not been directly referenced, but that have been speculated about, and this is part of what the whole experience is about. If anything, I think this page should be elaborated upon.02:11, 27 January 2007 (CST)

I disagree with deletion as well.(Don't I always?) I've made some additions to the page to start taking the page in a direction it should go. I think more needs to be expanded on in this direction. It's another one of those things that many of us talk about all the time. If we delete this page.. maybe we should delete the Slurpee page too because that has a hell of a lot less relevence.. but.. OH WAIT.. they finally mentioned Slurpee's in a video. Give em some time..it only took Daniel forever and a day to finally MENTION Aleister Crowley despite the picture on the wall. Also..Ehem..I am certain that illuminati are mentioned in some fanfiction. --LordGreystoke422 04:23, 27 January 2007 (CST)

The page as it stands reads like a Wikipedia article on the Illuminati. Really, if the only reason to have it is because there's been speculation, it should read like the Baphomet page or like Moonchild was revised. On the other hand, we're planning on starting a page dedicated to the influences on Bree's religion/society (whatever, really) and we were going to include all the organizations that fans had speculated might have to do with Bree's. See that discussion at Talk:Christian cults. Would it be acceptable to just merge this article with that one? Since we're going to have that article it would make sense to include Illuminati rather than have a separate page. I should have mentioned that before, but since we were talking about it on a different page, it just didn't occur to me. OwenIsCool 14:13, 27 January 2007 (CST)
Oh, my bad. The page actually looks different from the last time I saw it. It is actually much better, though it still lacks good sources. This would make a good addition to the proposed "Possible nfluences on Bree's religion" (or whatever it shall be called--we're taking suggestions for that too). Merged successfully?

I've merged the content on this page with Possible influences of Bree's religion. If people think this is okay, i'd like to move a lot of other articles over and use brief two paragraph summaries for many of these weakly-related pages.--JayHenry 15:25, 30 January 2007 (CST)

Fine with me! Looks much better. And would somebody please get rid of that fugly template finally?? ~ Jbshryne 00:24, 1 February 2007 (CST)
Yay, it's all coming together! Hehe, given the enthusiastic pro-removal response (for the template), do we really have to wait a week? Oh well, doesn't matter. OwenIsCool 02:23, 1 February 2007 (CST)
