"Commentary on Gavin's technological intelligence is irrelevant"

That was the explanation given by Amarie092 for removing this note:

• Gavin seems a bit confused with his Internet terminology. While some fans may have "e-mailed" their suggestions, most responses -- and indeed, all that are read in the episode -- were sent by "replying" or "commenting" on Gavin's blog post. This seems like an odd mistake for someone who works with computers for a living.

I wouldn't say that it is irrelevant. After all, like I said, computers are his job! The way I see it, Gavin's mistake is either (1) evidence toward his really being incompetent and bad at his job (in correlation with his "mistake" of letting Lee back up the software in The Leak) or (2) the writers being lazy and inconsistent. Either way, I would call it noteworthy.

I'm not gonna put it back right now, 'cause I don't want to start an revert war over a silly little note. But I would like some other opinions. ~ JBSHRYNE 12:06, 12 November 2007 (CST)
