Transcript

Lee: (On the phone.) Okay. You sure? (The camera pans out to show several people in a hospital waiting room.) Yeah.

(The camera pans to Charlie pacing back and forth, on her mobile. cut to Lauren talking to the camera.)

Lauren: Okay, so we wussed out, and it weren't exactly my idea.

(Cut to Charlie, Lauren, Lee, Rupert, and Steve in Charlie's car. Steve inspects Rupert's wound.)

Charlie: Is he still bleeding?

Steve: Yep.

Lauren: We decided to take Rupert to the hospital. I think he's past saving, myself. Waste of bandages.

Steve: He's out of it, man. (Shows his hand to the camera.) Can you go any faster?

(Cut to Lauren in the hospital.)

Lauren: Hope he's not getting all this on the NHS. Turns out it was just a flesh wound and a lot of blood. Loser's even up and about already. And yeah, I've seen what Terrence did. And you know what? I'm ready for you, you pervert. Always knew I'd have to come face-to-face with you at some point. And yeah, I'm ready.

What a birthday. All I wanted was some cards and a cake.

Lee: Yeah. Okay. Well, as long as you're sure. Okay. See you later. Um... (Grins.) I love you. Alright, bye. (Hangs up.) She's okay.

Lauren: Sophie?

Lee: Yeah.

Lauren: Good.

Lee: Oh, apparently Jeremy and Balthazar are really shaken up.

(Lauren groans and Lee shrugs.)

Lauren: So long as Sophie's all right.

Lee: Yeah.

Rupert: Look... (Cut to Rupert limping into the waiting room.) Like I said, I can't thank you enough for saving my life, but...

Steve: I've not come through for you, Rupert. Don't you get it? That's it; we're moving on.

Rupert: No... Look, Steve, you gotta help me get out of here. I've gotta get outta here, you've gotta help me. Come with me to save Julia.

Steve: Didn't you hear me? We're done. Why don't you call your Order cronies to help you?

Rupert: You and I both know that they can't be trusted after what happened today. Look in here. (Points to his chest.) You know I love her. And you know what a mess we are in. I don't want to lose my baby.

Steve: Baby?

Lauren: What?

Rupert: She's having our child. I don't want anything to happen to them.

Lauren: Julia's pregnant?

(The camera whips to Lee, who looks shocked. It whips back to Rupert.)

Steve: Rupert... Rupert, that's big. But it's not our problem anymore.

Rupert: The Order. Hey, what about that death threat? Hmm? Too bad. You do this for me now and that little hit - that little sentence - goes away. Permanently.

Charlie: Lauren. Lauren? (The camera pans to Charlie approaching with her mobile.) Lauren, it was Gav. He-he just left me a message. It was short, but he sounded desperate. He said that we have to go and pick him up now. He just left us an address.

Lee: No! I really, really wanted to go and see Sophie. What's wrong with Gav?

Charlie: He sounded frantic. I'm pretty worried that he's gonna go and do something stupid. We've got to go now! Look, I-I hope that you don't mind we go see Gav before we go back to Sophie.

Lee: Right. If we're really, really, really quick.

Charlie: Of course.

Lauren: charlie, you'll never guess what...

Charlie: W- We've got to grab Steve. We've got to go. Where is he?

Lee: He was 'round here before...

(The camera pans to the area Rupert had been standing.)

Lauren: I don't know, maybe he went with Rupert.

(They walk to the front of the waiting room.)

Charlie: He wouldn't. Would he?

Notes

  • Steve has several lines in this video, but is never seen. His voice also has an unnatural echo, as if it was added post-production. The reason for this is unknown.
