(Gavin and Kate sitting on sofa)
Gavin: Okay. This has what's been happening so far. I went online to see if I could find out anything about the late, but not so great, blood specialist. I found the specialist's last known home address and I thought it might be a good idea to try to ask his family if they knew about what had happened to him. It seemed like a straightforward plan, until I got there.
(Cut to Gavin walking down street)
Gavin: I mean, what the bloody hell am I supposed to say? I'm sorry about the bad news about your late husband, but he didn't happen to mention anything about kidnapping my best mate's girlfriend did he? You know, before he popped his clogs? Well.
Gavin: (walking towards a man who has just come out of a house) Uhm... excuse me?
Dudley: Yes?
Gavin: Uhm, uhm...
Dudley: What do you want?
(cut to Gavin and Kate on sofa)
Gavin: Yeah, okay, when I got there I did get a bit nervous and I couldn't think of anything to say.
(cut back to Gavin and Dudley)
Dudley: Is that thing recording?
Gavin: No, no...uhm... the doctor? Who lived in that house you just came out of?
Dudley: My father? Yes? What about him?
Gavin: Uhm...
Dudley: Oh for God's sake - I really don't have time for this.
Gavin: Father...
(Cut back to Gavin and Kate)
Gavin: The important thing was, I got him on tape. And I just - I had this feeling I knew him from omewhere, but I couldn't think where.
Kate: Until he showed the tape to me.
(cut to clip from Carnaby Street, Saturday 18th August, 10AM showing Dudley as the policeman)
Gavin: I went online and found out the doctor had a son in his 20's named Dudley. But there's no record of Dudley ever having been in the police.
Kate: So I started to wonder just how much of what happened on Saturday on Carnaby Street was actually real.
(Cut to Kate walking up to the door with of a house with a SOLD sign outside and knocking)
Gavin: Looks like a quick sale. Should we break in?
Kate: There's no point, it's empty. It wasn't any of the other houses?
Gavin: No it was this one. Green door.
Kate: Let's just go home.
(Cut back to Kate and Gavin on sofa)
Gavin: Nobody was there.
Kate: Just like nobody was in that body bag on Saturday on Carnaby Street. I mean, is this all for my benefit or some subterfuge for the Hymn of One? They say you're evil. I just want to know what's going on and why. So Dr. Specialist this is a message to you. We know you faked your death. And we have evidence of your son impersonating police in his spare time.
